Kitsch Satin Sleep Mask - Eye Masks for Sleep Softer Than Silk Satin Sleeping Mask Blindfold and Sleep

I am that person that cannot sleep if there is one speck of light in my room. I bought this for a trip as I didn't know if the VRBO homes we were staying at would have room darkening panels. I definitely needed this for house number 2. Pluses: -It's super soft, even with the weighted filler (that you can move around to adjust where the weight goes) -It has an adjustable strap; it's not one size fits all -The lavender scent is very refreshing and calming -It made everything DARK -It was surprisingly comfortable to wear in 90+ degree weather and 100% humidity. I didn't sweat under it; it appeared pretty breathable (the VRBO had NO A/C) The not so great: Take note: I am not used to sleeping with anything on my face as I live in the middle of nowhere; a mask is not necessary at home. I love my weighted blanket, so I figured I'd enjoy a weighted eye mask. My eyeballs do not feel the same way. It wasn't painful uncomfortable but more like a bit of gentle pressure that mildy reminded me of sinus pressure but on my eyes instead of behind them (and if you're a chronic sinus sufferer, you know what I'm talking about). It wasn't enough to offput me from falling asleep as I could adjust where the weight was in my mask and was successful every night at bedtime to get it in just the right place but due to the fact I perform acrobatics in my sleep, the weight would move and may have added to my restlessness and thusly, the mask moving around (forehead, chin and floor). I did not keep it tight because my eyes didn't like the weighted pressure fully on them. Yet, it wasn't super loose either, I have to use my hand to actually move it (I'm certain my hair helped wiggle the mask about; thankfully it never got caught up in my long hair - another plus). Overall, I don't think there is anything wrong with the product. It was comfortable to put on, adjust and actually fall asleep in. I just think since I'm not used to it and my eyes didn't care for the pressure and I'm a samurai in my sleep (and it was HOT in the room), it just made for a difficult night. Read more

Comfortable to wear, the satin material helps to not mess up my hair and is soft around my eyes. It's not so tight that you feel pressure on your eyes and it keeps the light out allowing you to sleep peacefully at all hours of the day. Read more

Very nice mask. Very silky so it doesnt get hot but it also stays on well. Prevents most light and gives some compression which is very helpful for me when I get a migraine. I wish I was just a twinge tighter around the eyes but overall I really love it! Read more

MUST HAVE SLEEP MASK!! I’ve always struggled finding good sleep masks as a light sleeper and I am so glad that I finally found a quality product. This sleep mask has an elastic band that will perfectly form to your head while sleeping and will not put too much pressure on the eyes. I love the oversized fit as I find that it blocks out light better than other sleep masks that I’ve tried. It’s incredibly comfortable as a side sleeper and I have been sleeping through the night and waking up refreshed. I originally bought this for myself but I had to also get one for my partner. I do wish they had additional colors but it’s just for sleeping and my eyes are closed anyway. Read more
