American products have gone the way of UK products imo... used to be made super-rugged and smartly-designed, assuming the customer wanted reliability above and beyond -- made for goal-oriented people. Now the orthodox is prioritizing profit over people, only delivering the barest content possible to diddle shareholders... Tbh the global economy has gone that way, mostly because Sino companies know they can make cut-rate products that have depressingly-short, planned-obsolescence service life and performance... and people will still pay up... now everyone has to compete at the same level. So, these Klein bags. The marque has no mystique for me, like Snap-On or Fluke (which arguably gives you what you expect, just charges you more every year), but from the ratings was finally convinced to pay the extra over what no-names were waving at me in the Marketplace, and see what was what... My first impression unboxing this... looks like it was made to live outside in a first-responder's arena, where there's little time to worry about how delicately it's handled, what it's dropped into or onto (within reason, it's cordura), and for daily use. Almost military-like speccing, like the extra-wide carabiner loop, the dbl-layer cordura shell, covered internal seams, zipper-stops sewn into both ends, and big, glove-friendly, rubber-coated zipper pull. Atop that, hi-viz lining layer adds contrast to see your tools better, and hiz-viz + 3M-like reflective strips 360-deg around the shell (patch showing which side is which at a glance). And the lone aluminium carabiner is nice (though would've liked one for each). People may whine about the plastic zips... but the ones on my racing leathers have held up through multiple getoffs just fine, thanks. If brass zips mean removing other features on this bag, not worth it imo... I'll be using these to store hand tools in my car -- and to help others with breakdowns (bought some cheap-y cordura bags and they're literally dissolving into dust -- planned obsolescence, and utter garbage). I returned the Stanley PROTO brand (canvas imposter) bag because I was disappointed upon receipt of how flimsy and thin it was. This 2-piece Klein set by comparison is a HUGE difference in quality and toughness! You could only witness the massive difference if you were to buy both brands. The description explains the basic details, but in summary I really like the double-wall strength, the superior zipper, and the bright yellow interior. The reflective outside is a nice touch but who is going to be walking down the street at night carrying or waving this bag around? This China product is a rare 5 STARS! Read more
So I work on aircraft and thought the high vis would be a good idea. In theory it is in practice for what I wanted them to do it wasn’t. They are good bags and I’ll find a use however you can’t put a whole lot in them compared to the canvas bags. I tried to put 3 rails of 1/4 drive sockets two 6in ratchets and a couple extensions in the large bag and boy it was over stuffed. It’s fine for volt meter leads and small tools but just not big enough. TLDR : they are smaller than the canvas bags and don’t really stretch out much. Read more

This bag is is much larger and TALLER ythan I perceived it would be from the pictures on Amazon. The inside measures 17” long, 9.5” wide, and 15” tall. This is very big for a carry bag. Also I believe the stay open top statement is a marketing exaggeration. The zipper is adequate, but I would have preferred a larger/stronger zipper at this price point. What I like is the quality material, heavy duty construction, and the reflective stripes. The reflective stripes sold me and motivates me to give the bag an opportunity to impress me despite it being larger than I expected or wanted. Read more

These are extremely heavy duty Klein Tool Zipper Bags. The bags are constructed using double walls, heavy duty zippers and stitching. The reflective green accents will definitely keep you from either losing these bags or prevent anyone from leaving them behind on a job site. The two different sizes in bags makes it easier to identify what’s kept in each one. I use these bags to keep my ratchet bit and nut drivers in the larger one and in the small one I have a variety of bits, sockets and accessories for small projects. I keep these bags inside the house so I don’t have to go out in the garage and into my tool chest just to get a simple bit driver for a small — most of the time — Honey Do Fix-It Project. All in all, I am more than happy with my purchase — price and quality were extremely acceptable! Has Tough Ballistic Weave that is ideal for tools. Has unique bright yellow interior that allows for quick location of any small items. Comes in a 2 pack with a large and small pouch, but only the larger pouch is suitable for average sized tools. The small pouch is only suitable for the smallest of items. Read more
