These are great flush cutters for softer materials. I tried to use them to cut off the end of a earring wire from a set of earrings my daughter was making. That dented the cutters. I've never considered that wire all that hard when i've cut it in the past with other tools but apparently hard enough to damage these cutters. Had I not needed to flush cut, I would not have used these. For everything else, I have used them for they've been great. Read more

Best flush cutters ever. I can't stand when other contractors don't flush cut zip ties! I always end up with unnecessary cuts from those darn 45 degree cuts that some think are acceptable 😠 My only qualm about this tool is that there is no latch to keep it closed, storing in my old tool wrap caused the tips to cut through the nylon. I now use a rubber band to keep them closed This is my second purchase in 4 years so, yes, they are durable. Read more

My predecessor was a huge fan of zip ties. I am not. Thus, these things have been an absolute lifesaver for me! They're strong and sharp enough that at one point I cut 100+ zip ties in about a half hour or so and they held up just fine for it (though I did replace that pair shortly after). The handle has a nice grip to it and they will go through things like Cat6 cable like a knife through butter. I can also use them for more precise things like stripping speaker wire or Cat6 cabling without them feeling clunky or cutting too deep and harming the wire itself. They fit nicely in my work backpack and given their versatility, they're one of my most frequently-used tools. I'm on my third pair at this point, and have totally gotten my money's worth out of each pair so far. Read more
