These boots are better than expected - especially for the price. The dark brown faux suede is decent quality… it isn’t a nice as some other faux suede boots, but it’s can pass well enough. The shape of the boot is also good. I have fairly average calf width and they fit me with a bit of room at the top. I wanted them to be a little more fitted at the top so I returned. I don’t think they are necessary “wide calf friendly” but if you are in between average and wide, they could work. Fitment is good and true to size and the style is both chic and classic, something you could wear out to the club in a mini skirt or a dinner with family under a maxi skirt, versatile look, comfort level and vibe. If I had seen/felt these in person prior to ordering, no, I would not have paid $60 for them, not the best value there. The material is that spongy and cheap faux leather that loses it's shine and finish after a season and tears so easily you really shouldn't be touching it at all. It's impossible to clean it without ruining it if you do happen to get anything on them. My biggest complaint is that they come folded, which we all know is a big no-no for knee high boots! The crease is unmistakable out of the box and they'll look worn out in no time. I've had some great PU knee highs over the years and unfortunately, these are not them.
