I must admit that I was super skeptical initially and worried about whether or not the order would look like the photo, but they exceeded my expectations. I have been on a mission for days now trying to find fold over boots that don’t have 4 inch wedges because I’m already nearly 5’9, the struggle is real out here for tall girls who just want a pair of cute boots that boost the swagger but don’t make us look like giraffes! These boots have an artfully obscured kitten heel of about a quarter of an inch, they’re not the standard 4 inch wedge of fold over boots. Packaged well with dust covers, these are a fun, wet look pair of seasonable boots. With a pirate vibe, they are a shiny black with silvertone buckle and kitten heels. There is something fun about the wrap of these boots and they are comfortable with the first wearing. Definitely purchase at least 1/2 size of your normal shoe size to make room for a comfortable pair of socks. I wear a 7.5 and the size 8 fit beautifully and I was able to test drive them with about 8 hours of wear out of the box. Only con is that whatever oil based combination that was used to produce it took a week of them sitting outside to get rid of that smell. Read more

I want sure about these when I ordered them. They're really nice! Well made, and beautiful. The shoe is soft and supple. I would recommend getting a size up. I got my size, and they're a bit tight in the toes. I'm going to see if they can be stretched a bit. The heel is just enough to give it some style, but not at all big enough to break your ankle trying to balance while you walk. I can't wait to break these out for date night with my husband!
