Thick calf friendly stylish knee high boots!
I was SO nervous these weren't going to fit around my calves! I have thicker legs and have about a 17 inch calf circumference. The listing didn't have specific details on how large the opening was. It has a stretch panel on it and they were too cute to pass up so I went and risked it for the biscuit! I was NOT disappointed!! Initially it was a LITTLE difficult zipping them up towards the thickest part of my leg but taking them off and putting them back on at a later date they zipped up so much easier. The pointed toe taper doesn't squish my feet, the shaft isn't uncomfortable or constricting, and the ankle part doesn't bunch up and dig at my ankles or rub weird. The funky shaped chunky heel makes the look more unique and interesting and sits at the perfect height. The fur lining and pointed toe make them look expensive, like you're a wealthy woman walking the snowy streets of Prague. The leather is soft and thick and the stretch panel doesn't pop seems or warp after being stretched. I wore these for a spontaneous road trip to West Virginia so I was driving for a total of 5 hours with no discomfort or cramping. After walking around all day in them though eventually I did get slight soreness at my forefoot as there is no platform at the front to combat the height of the heel. With some inserts I don't see this being a big deal at all. While out and about I got several compliments which made me feel like I looked just as amazing as these shoes made me feel!
