I'm not a huge fan of this knife set. I do like the design but the knives themselves are not the best quality, especially the scissors. There are also some discrepancies in the coloring although not overly noticeable. At the time of ordering, these were not worth the price but I see now it's been lowered to about $15 which is reasonable. These would be a good starter kit for someone's first apartment, etc but not for long term. Read more
I’ve been using these Black Star Kitchen Knives for a few days now, and they’ve quickly become my go-to set for everyday cooking. The blades are razor-sharp right out of the box, slicing through meats, vegetables, and even crusty bread with ease. Each knife feels balanced and comfortable to hold — not too heavy, not too light — which makes meal prep so much smoother. The universal knife block is stylish and compact, fitting perfectly on my counter without taking up too much space. I love that it keeps everything organized and looks great against my other kitchen essentials. Another huge plus — they’re dishwasher safe! After a long day, it’s nice to toss them in the dishwasher without worrying about rust or dulling. Overall, this knife set is an incredible value for the quality.
