This really works well, it was easy to install after an electric outlet was installed. It has more features than I will ever use! Read more
The first bidet we ever installed was a Kohler and it has worked flawlessly since 2017. Recently, the wand stopped dispensing water and after several unsuccessful attempts to "un-clog" it, we opted to purchase a new bidet. Staying with the Kohler brand seemed to be our best path, and this unit had the necessary features we needed (remote control, heated seat, heated water, etc...). The unit was delivered, and the saga began... INSTALLATION: The bidet is large and a bit awkward / clumsy to handle. To make it even more difficult, the water line has to be connected to the bidet seat prior to attaching the unit to the toilet mounting plate. Attaching the mounting plate to the toilet is straightforward but you have no idea where to place it. Keep in mind, the front of the bidet has to align with the toilet bowl rim (we have a Kohler elongated toilet) to keep water & "liquids" from going on the floor. It took me multiple tries to get everything to line up and cooperate, and when it finally "clicked" into place, I had no idea how it happened. LAST STRAW: The actual usage of the Kohler Bidet is when we knew a return was likely. 1) to set up the unit (you must be sitting on the bidet for the controls to work) you have to simultaneously actuate controls on the Bidet Seat Panel and the Remote Control. Perhaps a Gen-Z can do this, for us "Boomers", that's a stretch (Hey Kohler, who is your targeted demographic anyway?). 2) The Remote-Control panel is difficult to decipher, and the settings are displayed with a series of solid and flashing lights to indicate a 1 - 5 action. Again, not at all "Boomer" friendly. 3) The dispensing wand shoots water everywhere - no matter what setting you have in place. Of course, the Bidet has a drying function and after using it plus a bath towel, your bum is completely dry. CONCLUSION: After spending over $500 for this Kohler Bidet and experiencing all of the flaws, a return was our only option. Subsequently, we purchased the Alpha "UX PEARL" Bidet and have been extremely pleased. It was simple to install, (the Bidet to toilet bowl alignment template is a gamechanger) and very, very easy to control. Everything works great - like it should! Read more
I researched this to see if it would fit our toilet, and it fits PERFECTLY. Less expensive than buying a completely different bidet/toilet. Love the warm seat and multiple functions. As we age, skin down there gets thinner, so this works much better than handfuls TP. Read more
