I Really Wanna Recommend This But It Has Some Problems

I love the Monsterverse and this makes for a good entry in the franchise. The story is a bit predictable but you get three kaiju and lots of cool lore. For physical media collectors I highly recommend this. The graphics are also great! That being said this game has some of the worst controls that I have ever used. The responses are delayed, aiming can be nearly impossible without aim assist, the combat is infuriatingly difficult even on the lowest setting. I largely enjoyed my time with the game but I should be enjoying the giant monster battle finale not infuriated at starting over for the 17th time because the grapple hook doesn’t work right. It’s cheap for a PS5 game and it can be a lot of fun. And the box was a little damaged but nothing I found distracting. Read more
