This was very disappointing as it did not even last 2 hours with our 8 month old lab. The really frustrating part is I spent twice as much as on the not name brand version and the not name brand version for $8 lasted 3 weeks compared to almost $20 and not even 2 hours. I had stopped buying Kong years ago and thought I would give them another try with this toy. It has firmly reminded me why I stopped buying Kong products years ago. They tend to be overpriced and don’t last even a fraction of the time that the ‘cheap’ knock offs last. Read more

Great, durable toy, but 2nd one seems weaker than 1st

We had one of these before and it was the fave of our oldest boy. He was very tough on chew toys too, but it lasted a couple years. Very stretchy for how lightweight and durable it is. But we eventually had to toss the original and got a new one for Christmas. Still very stretchy and durable in that sense, but our new puppy (not quite a year old yet) was able to make small nicks in it. We also got a Kong throwing disc that she killed on day 1. Up to this point Kong has been our go-to and most promoted brand to our puppy friends, but recent experiences have been subpar. Read more

I’ve bought this 3 times now over the last 5 years of owning my pup. He’s a “super chewer” and this toy is his FAVORITE thing on earth. He loves to play tug of war. He has loved this since he was a puppy, and each time it’s lasted for 2+ years. I’m only buying another one now so that my other dogs can play with it too.
