The weight of the fabric is nice, not thin like a typical muslin blanket. It's also very soft and warm since I've been using it for the car seat in the late fall and winter. I mostly picked this blanket because of the print, I am not always a big fan of muslin texture because it can be more on the rough side but to my surprise this blanket was soooo soft and lovely. My daughter loved it and it has been in her rotation of blankets since she was about 4 months old. She is now a year old and this blanket has held up so well. Pretty and soft little cotton baby coverlet. It is definitely not as plush and thick as the photo, however will look pretty as a coverlet in a stroller or car carrier. Should be great to wrap a newborn in while in the house. Read more
