Gorgeous boots, so comfy, like putting your feet into a soft, loving cloud. I have many pairs of the other very expensive brand that begins with "U"...and these Koolaburra are very comparable, just as comfy and well made, for about one sixth of the price. In fact, I've been to Australia, and bought 2 Koolaburra brand leather & sheepskin coats while in Sydney, that was over ten years ago and the coats are still in great shape, so I trust this brand. Stitching is perfect. Fully lined in sheepskin. Nice little brass nameplate is attached to a smooth leather patch, at back of boot, it's curved to fit the boot, no edges sticking up. Well done. Sheepskin foot liner is removable, washable and replaceable, same the ones from The U brand. They will eventually get flattened, you can buy standard replacement liners for about ten bucks. These are made in Vietnam but the label says the sheepskin is from Australia. I checked 3 pr of my U brand ones, and they're made in China, also with Australian sheepskin, in case you are wondering. No weird smells, just smells like leather. Soles are firm, honeycomb tread, not slippery, not much flex, again, feels just like the soles on the other brand- these are for wearing out and about, they are not floppy house slippers. I ordered women's size Eur 40/USA 9. I wear 8.5 and decided to go up half size but think I could have gone down to 8, as interior is so cushy, and toe box is plenty big. Also you don't wear socks in these so you have more room. You can fold them down to show more of the fluffy sheepskin lining if desired. They are very lightweight. Color is as shown, a lovely light brown, it's the color you expect in these kind of boots, Will gladly buy more colors! Read more
These appeared to be made of soft sheepskin, which is what I wanted, but are leather as the website was unclear. "Tall asymmetrical shaft boot in sheepskin or leather. I tried to like them but the texture and rubber feel of the boot shaft just didn't work for me, plus the color was so-so. I could have dealt with all that but the biggest deal breaker was the fact that it kept making my socks slide down. My socks aren't very thick although I do have thick socks but they are made of 100% cotton and thus make my feet sweat. Therefore I switched over to a wool sock blend which is thinner but still keeps the feet warm w/o the sweating and is the only sock I wear and that is too thin for these boots. Plus I have a narrow foot. In order to try and keep the boots I even ordered some sheepskin inserts but that made the heel slippage even worse. Alas, I had to return them. They are however well made, true to size, and real sheepskin lining. Very comfortable and warm. Read more
I can't get over the quality and comfort without spending a lot more money. I have wide feet and arthritis in my toe joints, with very few options for comfort and style. These are perfect. I usually don't write reviews, but this brand is by far my favorite and at 65 I've had my fair share of winter boots. Read more
I've ordered several pairs of these boots and each time I do, I notice the quality of goes significantly down. I love this style so much and was disappointed to see how thin the sheepskin has gotten since the last pair I ordered. I wish the price reflected the lower quality I received. I also wish these would be made again in the high standard as they were before. Read more

These cement-color boots are beautiful and extremely warm. Be forewarned that they run really small. I purchased these a whole size larger than what I normally wear so I could accommodate a thin weight sock. This whole size up fit well. Also, since the lining is made from real fur, you're probably going to want to wear these with socks since the fur can be minimally scratchy. When I say "minimally" I mean a tiny amount of scratchiness. Since natural fur is much warmer and more durable than the fake fur found in most boots, I am thrilled to own this pair and would choose natural fur over synthetic any day. I waterproofed mine using a common waterproofer and they look great. These boots have a lot of cushion in the bottom and are very comfortable. Lastly, they have a decently grippy tread on the bottom, so you won't be sliding around on smooth surfaces. Read more
