These things are working GREAT for me. I take care of my 82-year-old mother who has had multiple strokes and severe dementia. At night she tosses and turns a lot, and she started doing this new thing where when she gets out of bed she sort of drags the blanket with her and it ends up on the floor, and she can't figure out how to get it back in place when she goes back to bed. I took 4 of these little straps and clipped on end of them to her blanket and ran the other end through the frame of her hospital type bed and clipped it again, just down on one side, going about 50% of the way up the side of the blanket. So now, the blanket can't be dragged off the bed, and it keeps that bottom half on one side stuck to the bed and she can figure out how to pull the rest of the blanket back up on her. The clips seem to be made for sheets, like all these types of straps seem to be, but I took a chance and tried them on my mom's actual blanket, and they work great. They open up just enough to tug the blanket inside the clip and then they are easy to snap down. Plus, they are elastic and stretch a bit, so when she tugs at the blanket it gives a little and lets her adjust it easier. These are super awesome. We have leather couches & sometimes visiting pups, plus our teens & a toddler. I put blankets on top of the couches in order to protect them, and it makes them more comfy/warmer.
