I originally had my sights set on a different set of shelves to place next to our toilets. However, this one came out and looked nice in the listing. I was not disappointed when the item came. It has a gorgeous pattern and has a slightly more matte look which is actually my preference over something super polished. It is pricey but it well worth it. I can see it adding not just a nice cosmetic touch but adding value to the bathrooms. The shelves aren't just pretty but deliver on strength and quality too. The brackets holding this up are super sturdy and can handle the weight of the marble. It is aluminum which will offer protection from rust due to the moisture in the bathrooms. Even with the weight of the marble, the brackets feel secure. There was great attention to detail when it came to producing this item. They even though to put covers to hide the screws and give it a more clean look. We were lucky that the white carrara marble countertop we had in our bathrooms were so close to the colour and design of these shelves. They seriously looked like they were cut from the same stone. I say this because it is important to take note of how it looks and make sure it matches if that's what you're going for. Also, the marble will probably have a different pattern on each shelf. This is possible due to the fact it wasn't mass produced with something more artificial. Synthetic materials allow you to replicate the same pattern, color, etc. However, this is very much a good thing as it gives more reason to believe it is true marble. Read more

This shower self set up is so manageable & truly the best! Before getting this from my Showe, all of my shower products were scrambled & unorganized in my shower. I would get irritated because my shower space would get so tight & messy. Now that I have this shower shelf, I have a more relaxing & better shower experience. With this, my products are more organized, it sticks well to the wall with the glue that is inclued and it does take 24 hours or so for the glue to cure. Also make sure that you clean the shower space where to attach very good and then wipe it down with alcohol before gluing it up. I supose that screwing it in would have been better but I did not want to put screws into my tile shower. After gluing the metal bracket in then the actual shelf could go in without any issues or fear of it falling, & this unit provide so much room for everything. I definitely recommend getting this if you want to increase your shower experience with a chic look & to overall have a more organized shower if you have a lot of products like I do. The marble is of these shelves are finished extremely well and the color is exactly as described. The overall design of shelves has been well executed and a the marble is a pretty decent thickness. The shelves were packed well with foam and arrived undamaged. There are 2 install kits included to ensure both shelves can be installed easily. The instructions are pretty straightforward and there is also a video which covers install available from Koville. While they do mention that these shelves can be installed in a shower. I have found that they also work pretty well for holder a soap dispenser holder in a 1/2 bathroom with a pedestal sink. Since the pedestal sink has very little surface space available I needed a solution to hold a soap dispenser. This marble shelf fit the bill and offered enough room to have the soap dish easily accessible. Attaching these shelves to drywall is pretty easy since these shelves include a metal bracket with screw holes. Just through in some wall anchors top mount the basket and then adhere the marble to bracket. Overall these shelves offer a decent value and will add a nice finishing touch to your bathroom. The Koville African Natural Marble Corner Shelf is pretty much as advertised. The edge cuts and machining is precise. It comes with gold tone (kind of a matte finish) support bracket. This support bracket is very functional and will support the shelf with no fears of movement or falling, but this same stout design makes the bracket large and highly visible from the side and underneath. If your room design is based on gold tone accoutrements, then the gold tone support bracket may be of no consequence. I am planning to use them in a bathroom that is based on brushed nickel hardware and fixtures, so I see no future for the gold toned brackets; too distracting. I will either try spray painting them, or ditching them altogether and come up with another mounting method. I knew that the support brackets were large and gold toned (advertisement was not misleading), so no disappointment regarding their quality. The only real downside is that the finished surface of the marble shelves (top and bottom surfaces) are polished to a low-to-medium luster. For comparison, if you bought a vanity with a marble top and it was finished to the same smoothness and luster as the Koville marble shelves, you would consider returning it. Again, just like the gold toned brackets, if your expectations for the finish of the shelving surface carries no concern for a minimally pitted and duller luster, then this is good choice. For me, it will be good enough since it is only a shelf, but a pickier customer might pass. Read more
