This attractive sneaker is rather bulky and weighty, but it is somewhat wide and roomy, so it feels comfortable, but it is one of my heaviest shoes. It does have a rugged bottom surface, but that sometimes makes you feel every terrain variance. Good deal for price, but not my favorite sports shoe. Read more

Wide Toe Box, decent amount of cushion, flexible, great lugs and grip, and not too bad looking ... best of all the price is hard to beat! So what could go wrong? Well for starters, if you're like me you got this shoe because you want comfort and function, and I think it struggles with both. Despite there being a good amount of cushion, this shoe still has a bit of a rough ride while running. It's flexibility is nice, but you can definitely feel rocks and such underfoot. The shoe is also advertised as a flat shoe, and you do feel a little bit of a drop from heel to toe. The insole at least is flat (which isn't the case a lot of the time), but you still feel like the shoe is helping you rock forward. Also in regards to function, the shoe IS wide and roomy, but it doesn't really FEEL wide and roomy. It feels like you're in more of a long shoe than a wide shoe if that makes sense. And part of the problem might be my last point...the heel. The heel ankle opening points backward like those shoes made for easy on/off access... but this makes the shoe feel like it's gonna fall off your foot unless you tie it tightly, which means any wide roomy feeling you might have gets snuffed by the fear of your foot slipping out of the shoe. I got these shoes for running (maybe even spartan racing) and there's no way I could trust this shoe to stay on my foot for any kind of muddy terrain. Who is this shoe for? I could see this being a good option for someone who just needs a high cushion shoe for walking and light jogs. If you want to do something more intense, I'd say try a different shoe. Read more

Coming from China wrapped in clear plastic so the unboxing was kinda anti-climatic. Then the smell of long chain monomers hits the nostrils like a car filled with Play-Doh baking in the sun. After the initial shock of that smell wears off I put these hiking shoes on and strode around the block. Gotta admit for under $50 these shoes are awesome! Super light, very comfortable and the men’s 9.5 is exactly as I’d have expected. The soft inserts work fine, but I’ll likely upgrade those before hitting the trails. Pleasantly surprised how well they fit, feel and look for the price. They seemed fairly well made, but time we’ll tell. It’ll be a day or two resting outside before the smell out-gasses to a tolerable level… that’s really a very minor negative. Nice hiking shoes! Read more
