Like our favorite local breakfast spot, I prepared as pancakes and waffles and not a piece left behind! Perfect for weekend breakfast at home :-) crispy toasty outside, fluffy sweet goodness inside. A treat supply, but this will not last long in my pantry. Outside box was tattered due to weight of the product, hopefully they find alternative packaging solutions to prevent punctures and waste. Thankfully these pancakes aren't as sweet as I was afraid they'd be. Instead I'm getting a distinct taste of vanilla - delicious. Batter has a strong yellow cake mix scent and this scent is very present through the cooking process. The taste is a little more like pound cake than yellow cake, which is perfect. They cooked up light and fluffy. My only complaint is the addition of four different kinds of yellow food dye. Both yellow 5 and 6 may contain contaminants that are known to cause cancer. Why in the world put this into our food supply when it simply isn't necessary? Once pancakes brown the yellow color doesn't matter a bit. Read more

Quite simply the best pancake mix in my opinion. We own a restaurant, started using this brand about 10 years ago. We often hear our pancakes are the best. Our supplier stopped carrying this so we turned to Amazon and found it, and it was less expensive. Read more

This sweet cream mix is simply delicious! For those who state that the box does not provide a small-size amount of mix, then just use 2 cups of mix. I also add an egg and some old-fashioned oats for enhanced nutrition, and milk. I never measure the milk, as I just stir it in until it is a slightly thick consistency for pancakes. For waffles, just add a little more milk or water to make the batter a little thinner to flow onto the waffle iron. I add some chocolate chips and thawed blueberries to make it a special treat for Saturday morning breakfast. Very flavorful, as my family always looks forward to these tasty treats.
