Ksana Choco Pistachio Cream contains 67% Turkish Pistachios and no artificial additives for a rich, natural flavor. It is made with pistachios, sugar, milk powder and vegetable oil. Nothing else. It is not very sweet, only 6g of sugar per serving, and complements an overly-sweet chocolate cake perfectly. A free package of delicious roasted kadayif is also included. The kadayif is extremely fresh and crispy and even comes in a resealable package to maintain freshness Everything was packaged with impressive care. This was the first time that I received a jar encased in styrofoam. The jar was sealed well. The pistachio cream itself was a beautiful pistachio green with great texture/smooth consistency and was very natural tasting. These ingredients were perfect for duplicating a decadent Dubai chocolate cake that goes for $50 at my local bakery, which is okay as a splurge for special occasions but a bit too pricey for indulging my cravings on a regular basis, haha. I am proud to report that I achieved similar results for under $20. Admittedly, not as attractive as a professionally-decorated cake, but it was certainly just as tasty if not more so. At the time of delivery, this product has weight months of shelf life which is good enough. It tastes a bit dry like a hardened butter, not easy to spread on the bread due to its firmness. It's quite sweet, but I still think it's delicious. I like the fact that only salt and sugar, no other preservatives are added. On the down side, the jar wasn't well sealed. In fact, there is no tamperproof seal, once the plastic wrap is removed (in my case I didn't even remove it) and the lid is twisted open, the pistachio cream is exposed. I am a big fan of pistachio cream. It tastes awesome and in my opinion is superior to peanut butter in every way aside from looks. It's expensive, but it's a luxury item so with that in mind it's not that bad. I like that it also comes with small bag of roasted kadayif which is perfect if you're making your own chocolate treats. The pistacho paste tastes very good. It is a tad too sweet for me but just a little bit. It is ok, I think i it had a little less sugar it would have been perfect. The paste is not runny at all and its very dense. I also like that it has crunchy bits inside but are not too hard. It adds a nice texture also when eating it. It also has a nice sweet nutty scent. They include small bag of toasted kadayif which is nice and adds an additional crunchy feeling to it all. It pairs very good with the pistacho paste. it doesn't get soft even when mixing it with the paste. Quality seems great for both, pistacho paste and the toasted kadayif If you want to try to make dubai style this kit is perfect because it is not a huge amount of it and its perfect if you want to try, you'll just need some chocolate and a mold.
