This is one of those items that either works or doesn’t work. The definition of it working as expected is that I could stick it on virtually any surface and stick my iphone to it and have it hold the phone with the same strength as the magsafe charging disk, which has a powerful enough magnet that it can hold the phone securely with an apple magsafe case attached. An ordinary magnet won’t do that because the phone’s magnet isn’t ordinary, it is designed only to work with apple accessories. DOES IT WORK You probably can think of a dozen places you could stick this thing IF it works. My use was unique, in a car but not on the driver’s side. I am often the passenger in a friend’s car and there is absolutely nowhere to put my phone other than in my pocket, which isn’t practical because if it rings I have to unbuckle my seatbelt to fish the phone out. Not being my car I didn’t want one of those fancy adjustable car mounts and I absolutely didn’t want something that would clip to his vent louvers and possibly break them. I needed something that was as minimalistic as possible, that I could hide on the tunnel alongside the seat or some other place where I could reach it easily but the mount would be almost invisible. It does pass that test - the 3M tape is strong as long as you clean the surface properly before sticking it in place. By the way, In looking for a place to mount this I discovered that some vehicles, including my friend’s, have almost no flat surfaces. The magnet’s adhesive disk won’t be as effective unless you find a spot that’s flat. That worked out well for me, I found such a place alongside the tunnel where it is out of harms way but easy to reach down and grab as needed. I like that with a mounting disk this small I could be creative and find just the right spot. HOLD THE PHONE But the real test is will it hold my 13 PRO safely even over bumps? Unfortunately this company has pretty much ignored their page and is still talking about the 12 series. That doesn’t help for anyone who has the latest phones. Sure it SHOULD work because the magnetic feature is the same but I would like the reassurance in their ads that it WILL work. So I tested it with my apple leather case on my 13 PRO. The magnetic force seems to be similar to using the charging disk, which is good. Keep in mind that the charging disk uses an electromagnet while this one is not electronic. WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW This disk won’t stick to any other phones or devices BUT they include a metal ring that can be attached to other devices to make it compatible. I say devices rather than phones because I have big plans to use it with my dashcam and also with my gopro. So much better than suction cups and sticking this little disk to the windshield glass wont attract any suspicious interest when the device is detached. YES OR NO The real story is whether it is strong enough to hold my phone, otherwise it’s worthless. The answer is yes, this thing is worth every penny. Read more

I originally purchased this for my shower, so I can magsafe my phone in the shower and listen/watch something while in there. It has been over a few weeks and here are my impressions. 1. I took off the original adhesive in order to waterproof the command strip. Honestly, I regret taking it off because the adhesive on the Magsafe is SUPER STICKY AND STRONG. I put the command strip for ease of removal in the future and without damage. 2. It hasn't rusted or shown any signs of wear and tear in the shower. 3. The Magnets are stronggggg it keeps your phone in place and it was so strong then I had to yank harder than normal. Overall is good the magnets are strong and give me a strong sense of security. Great product and extremely strong magnet so you don’t have to worry about your phone falling off because of a speed bump. It’s made of aluminum and has double sided tape on the back to stick on your car or anywhere else. It comes with a metal ring if your case isn’t MagSafe but unfortunately it’s only 1 ring and no extras so keep that in mind if you share a car with someone and both of you don’t have MagSafe cases. This thing is great. I was not sure how well it would hold for use in my car but it works very well even tested with some large potholes. My goal was to convert my current scosche mount for my last phone into a MagSafe mount by attaching the old plate to this magnet. This worked great and the mount is now portable for use in multiple places. The phone does not pull the mount off the hard mount either when removing it from this device. Read more

I've used these in a couple different projects and they've held up really well. The VHB tape looks small but you really don't need much, if it covered the whole back this would be almost impossible to remove from anything ever. Read more
