I have discovered that this kind of little can is a big step up from just an open basket. It cuts down on odor and hides your mess, and the step pedal is a thousand times easier than having to lift a manual lid. In a very short period of kit of time I have run this thing through its paces in several different rooms and I have not come back disappointed. I had no idea how much I would enjoy this little trash can when I ordered it, but it has made such a difference in my craft room. I keep it right on my crafting table, and because of the slim shape, it fits perfectly without taking up the space I need when I’m crafting. It’s so convenient to just brush paper scraps, sticker backings, and little trimmings straight into it while I’m working.
