I purchased this to wear underneath a dress with a plunging neckline and halter straps. I wanted to make the neckline more modest WITHOUT additional tank top straps in the back of the dress. I am not one who likes to show cleavage and I am always in the market for tank tops I can wear beneath v or plunging necklines. However, most tanks I find are still not as high as I would like, and I usually end up wearing them backwards. I also like a shelf bra tank to wear as a cami, but I have the same problem with them...they're too straight across and don't keep things covered. I like them to scoop, not too much, but not be too high either. I also have problems with straps falling because for whatever reason, tank top straps are too long for me and could always stand to be shortened by about 1-2 inches. That being said, this tank...is my favorite. I don't wear it alone, I use it as a camisole and I wear it under EVERYTHING. It keeps things covered WITHOUT being so high that it looks stupid. The skinny racerback straps help it to stay secure and in place. And it's comfortable and soft. It doesn't ride up either (this is another problem I have. Like I said, I'm very picky about tanks.) The only other ones I like are Target Mossimo ribbed tanks and those are the type I wear backwards in order to keep my necklines where I like them.
