My old bathing suit cover-up wore out, and I needed something to replace it. I had to look at many different designs before I found this oversized shirt-like cover-up. It is sheer, and suitable to use as a blouse with a cami underneath it, but I will use it when I get out of the pool after water aerobics, as I'm always a bit chilly when I exit the warm water. I bought this in white as a swimsuit cover up for my cruise vacation and it ended up being the most used piece of clothing I brought. I wore it over different outfits for added warmth in AC environment on the ship. I took off a star as I found it too hot for poolside and Caribbean heat as it tends to stick to your skin if there’s significant humidity. I still loved the shirt as it looks great with multiple outfits even though that wasn’t its intended purpose. I’m 5’6” and 145 lbs. I love the material, is totally my to go kind of fabric for summer clothes, I was skeptical at the beginning but once I had it at my hands I was and am just super happy about it. The material is super fresh and soft. It’s just very comfortable to wear and it is perfect for the humid and hot summer in nyc. It just came right on time and most importantly is very versatile to use, I don’t have to exchange between outfits. I just need to wear it with some other clothes/accessories and that’s it!
