I love this nightlight. I got it for my elderly father, and I like that it shines both toward the floor and up to give him light to see the wall as well. It turns on automatically and it has several different settings. I also like that it shines up and down, rather than outward, if that makes sense. The light goes where I wanted it to. This is awesome for a child’s nightlight, hallway or even bathroom. There are 3 settings for brightness and if you hold the button on the side you can actually turn it off during the day if you don’t need it. The light comes from below and above. What I love most is during the night if you need to use the bathroom, you don’t need to turn on the regular bathroom lights which hurts your eyes (and wakes you up) and that’s a plus. I wish we had outlets in our hallway so I could put a couple of these for night use. They are small enough you can take them for travel and if you are going overseas be sure to have a power adapter. These night lights are great. I just had my backsplash done in the kitchen, and I never like going into the kitchen in the evening with the lights off, they are perfect for what I needed.They go on at dusk and go off in the morning. Makes the kitchen look very inviting in the early evening hours. Great addition to my kitchen, specially if you have to get up in the middle of the night and get a glass of water. These are clever little gadgets that turn themselves off in the day and turn themselves on at night. I like that the light is orange so it will not suppress melatonin and there are three brightness settings. I also like that the light isn’t shining right into my eyeballs - it comes out the top and bottom, which is much gentler for my eyes. Overall I highly recommend. Read more

This little box is cute and unobtrusive, although I would prefer white to blend with AC receptacle plates. The light is bright enough to facilitate a safe visit to the bathroom during the night without the need for the blinding regular light. The performance of the light sensor is amazing in its smoothness of operation - it is not a snap action switch. I played with the one in my bathroom: with the regular light off, I slowly moved the gloss white door to vary intensity of reflection of outside light and watched the tiny lamp smoothly graduate from full off to full on. All this fun for the price of a hamburger!! I will never use the low level provision, but I know people who would appreciate it. Read more
