Great fit, can't wait to wear it! Given the price, I am nervous about potential discoloration mentioned in other reviews as I haven't worn it yet (it's for a vacation coming up), but I will update my review if it happens to me. The fit is so perfect, cuts up the thigh just enough that it doesn't make you look boxy, the perfect amount of booty coverage for me (not full coverage but your butt isn't hanging out either), I typically like sweetheart cut but this works well for a swimsuit to hold you in while still having support to keep you lifted and looking good. And most importantly, a good amount of tummy control and ruching to flatter the tummy and make you feel held in (currently post c-section and it does a great job camouflaging the incision and belly pouch it caused). I am 5'2, about 145 lbs and got a size medium - I'd say true to size - keeping in mind it will be a bit snug to hold you in, if you want it less tight, go up a size. Read more
I am a size 14 with a tummy. I did get the 16w since there is not a long torso option This bathing suit was my go to all summer. I will be purchasing another. The quality is very nice. It has thick material but not so thick that you can't breathe. I still felt supported . Not superr revealing but has a flattering neck line. It's fits well and I felt confident. Read more
LOVE THESE BATHING SUITS! As a PP mom I needed a bathing suit I would feel confident in and this was it! I ended up buying it in 4 colors. Black is a staple, the pink was a total beauty on. Hugs you all in the right places and made the girls look good as well. I felt covered as a new mom but also not like I was hiding anything either. Either way, new mom or not best one piece bathing suits out there. The price is a little high for me typically but they are constantly on sale so I just waited till then. Read more
Beautiful color. Runs a little small? I’m 5’1” and 120 lbs and will need to go up from an 8 to a 10. My Tommy bahama size 8 fits perfect so I’m going to return and order new size. Has ruching through the middle but the fabric isn’t very thick, so when it gets wet it’s going to suction to the body even more. Read more
I’ve always been a fan of la Blanca suits, and turned to the brand again post-DMX with DIEP flap. I’m still very sensitive and very conscious of my nipple-less circles and the indent there. I fill out the top and the light padding smooths that indent. The light ruching also smooths the “Ken doll” effect and little hip flaps from my hip incisions. I’m sure I’ll come back to la Blanca again after my stage 2 revision - this is a great suit and I still feel cute/sexy even though my body is in flux. Read more
La Blanca has some figure flattering & gorgeous swim suits that are high quality. I felt this one was sub par. It did nothing for my figure. The high back can be difficult to pull up. Compared to some of their other suits, this one is blah. I will be returning. Read more
