I'm 46 years old with a short waist and long legs. I'm a bit heavier in the middle than I'd like to be so I've been busy searching for a fashionable one-piece that looks slimming. Finding the right one-piece is always a challenge for me given my short waist. I'm typically between a small and medium in swimsuits depending on the cut. I wear size 6-8 jeans and have a 34B bust. I ended up keeping the 6 in this suit because I felt the 8 didn't "suck me in" as much and would likely stretch with wear. This swimsuit is a thicker material and has a nice, tight fit without being too restrictive. I wish the legs were slightly higher cut for a slimmer look on my thighs and I'm not a fan of the halter-tie around the neck because it's quite tight once I squeeze all of my assets inside and pull it up. Te design of the suit is worth 100 starts. I love the stripes and pattern combination. La Blanca suits are really great and usually leave me feeling less matronly and more fashionable when I'm in them. They're expensive, but worth it for style and quality. Read more

Overall I really like this bathing suit. The material is a really nice quality. I love the style and pattern/colors - I ordered the chambray/beachside bay color. The plunge neckline and low strappy back adds a little sexiness while still being modest. I found it runs true to size. I took off a star because the straps are not adjustable and the suit stretches over the course of the day. As it stretches I found my chest didn’t have much support. If you want support and plan to wear this for a full day it is something to consider. Read more

First, my favorite color is gray, and my closet is full of white black gray navy and various shades of brown (cream, tan, coffee, etc)…and VERY few tops have a pattern beyond horizontal stripes. But there was something about this suit that i was drawn to. I am lucky to live 6 blocks from the beach in LA, so my bathing suits get a lot of wear and tear so I end up always needing to throw away 1-3 every summer. I saw this yesterday and just said to myself, “Pull the trigger! You can always return it.” And it arrived today right when me and my husband were walking out of our house to go to the beach… so I ran inside and tried it on… and for a basic "B" I was and am in ***LOVE***. The suit itself is very flattering for my body - I have a large behind so it had good behind, but not overwhelming, coverage. My next hurdle when buying a swim suit is that having very, VERY large chests run in my family in the women on both sides… and I am a 36G. This suit, frankly better than any suit I already own, holds my girls up and very perky, whereas I’m using to very little attention to that detail and my chest looking saggier than it is when I’m just naked. Basically: I love this suit! I got something like 10-12 compliment primarily from women my age as well as from women a little younger, the 1st, 2nd & 3rd time I wore it to the beach :) Read more

Great suit. Fit perfectly and was super comfortable. I also purchased a Johnny Was swimsuit and the quality of this suit was equal if not better. Read more

I’m 5’2, 150lbs, 38DD. I liked the pattern/look of this bathing suit (which prior to having my daughter, I haven’t worn a 1 piece since I was a kid), but now I have a mix of a Mom & recently added stress belly that I didn’t used to have. I was hopeful that this suit could not only make me feel better about myself with my new-ish weight gain, but also look stylish when wearing it. Well it didn’t completely make me feel good, my midsection still looked basically the same as without the suit on. It didn’t really offer much in the way of tummy control & did not camouflage my extra weight, but seemed to highlight it. It did make my chest look really good (though it was a bit tight fitting in the chest). Overall, if your hoping for a suit that has tummy control that sucks you in, & you are self-conscious about your Mom belly, this isn’t likely the suit for you. I personally feel like if I drop at least about 15 or more pounds, I think I’d like this one. For now, it’s a “no” for me & will be going back. I’ll probably give it a try again once I lose weight/get in shape. Read more

This swim suit runs a little small. If you are very conservative in cleavage reconsider this suit. It is very low cut. Beautiful if I was a 20 to 40 year old. Read more

The fabric looks and feels expensive. True to size for me. I love the tie in the back. It makes it just a little different from other women's swimsuits. The bottoms are full coverage and that's what I wanted. I own several La Blancas and this one did not disappoint. I am 65+. However, I recommend this suit for any age. Read more

I absolutely love this swimsuit! I’m normally a skimpy two-piece type of girl, but this year have been feeling a bit too out of shape to be in a two piece. A friend has this and it looked so cute on her so I found one on Amazon. I’m 5’7” and 159lbs in the pic and I went with a size 12. It’s a little loose in some areas and I could probably have gotten away with a size 10, but they were out when I purchased it. I’m normally more of a size 6/8 or Medium in dresses and wear a size 29 in designer jeans. I do wish that the butt was a bit more skimpy coverage (it’s full coverage), but other than that, it’s great. It’s super comfortable and very sexy. Read more
