Hi guys so I barely got this product in yesterday cause I was getting sick and irritated of the eczema on and around my lips feeling like a failed lip filler injection and I've noticed good changes for it being only the 2nd day. I want to provide updates as I continue through, but essentially the 1st day, incredibly red, puffy, felt like a mosquito bite before putting the product on. Once putting it on, my lips still felt the same but they looked hydrated and about 3 hours after the application, I noticed I started peeling and so I peeled off the loose flakes, added some more cream about 2 more times before heading to bed and this morning, my lips felt so dry, but I had A TON of flakes surrounding my lips so decided to cleanse again. With my fingers and the area still being wet, I basically rolled off all the bunches of flakes and the area feels SO incredibly smooth rn. And get this, the area doesnt burn after applying more of the cream so I would say its healing rather nicely! I've been dealing with this eczema since June of this year and its been the most annoying thing ever, but Im glad to have found something that is working well in such a short time. This works really well! I had severe eyebrow dandruff as well as generally dry skin all around my eyes, nose, and forehead. It leaves your skin just a little bit shiny, but it's really not that noticeable. I applied it about three times per week and that did the trick. But keep in mind it's a treatment, not a cure. I was diagnosed with eczema about 7 years ago. Sometimes cortisone creams would help, but they would also burn bad flare ups around my mouth and eyes. Hormones and I suspect an allergy to nail products trigger the flare ups. I don’t like the idea of being dependent on cortisone creams and noticed they thinned out the skin by my mouth. I wanted to seek an alternative, so I looked into this cream and have been using it for over two months. I will say that I have oily, acne-prone skin, so I wasn’t sure if this cream would be suitable for my skin type at first. My skin soaks it right up! I did get one pimple during the first week of using it, but it hasn’t caused any acne breakouts. More importantly, my skin is so soft and smooth since incorporating this into my routine. I’d say it’s best for maintenance and should follow regular light exfoliation. I haven’t had any of my bad monthly flare ups since using this. I’ve had light eczema dryness, but this helps to soothe and soften the skin. It might make my skin ever so slightly shinier throughout the day, but that can easily be blotted. I really don’t care if it does because the benefits outweigh the tiny bit of extra shine. Finally, for those who wear makeup, I let this settle into my skin before applying any makeup and it sets beautifully. When I’ve rushed applying makeup, there’s an area by my eye where my eye cream and this cream meet and that tends to result in a weird pilling if I don’t let the creams settle first. I also have the lighter version of this that I purchased at the same time. I haven’t used it at all yet because I use this day and night.
