Connect the AC adapter (100–240V) or install 6 AA batteries for portable operation. Power on the printer and connect to a PC or Mac using the included USB cable if designing labels with Label Editor software. Create your label using the full QWERTY keyboard, application hotkeys, or software. Review on the LCD preview screen, then print and apply.

Pricy but packed with features

Spent more on this than I thought I ever would on a label printer, but it’s a solid device and I’m happy I bought it ($180 on sale). Favorite features: - Auto-cut label *backing* for easy removal - Auto-cut *labels* (whole label, not just the backing) - Automatic label cartridge recognition - Large selection of label cartridges - Easy to swap cartridges (such as a 12mm label with a 4mm one for a specific project) - Prints quickly for my needs, can print many labels at one time - Portable with 6 AA batteries (it's a lot of batteries, but they can be rechargeable) - Large selection of fonts - Text size customization - Ability to round the edges of the label with the built-in label corner cutter - Sleek design Also, Melissa with Epson has fun and informative YouTube videos all about the Epson label printers and labels. Good but has flaws....

If you have the PX350, this would make a great upgrade. Love the backlit screen and the possible use of the PC software to make labels. The software CD is no longer included but you can download it from their site. I did have problems with ours. I may have received a defective unit and am returning it. But may reorder / try again in the future. We had several miss prints at random and on random label tape cartridges. The peel guard cutter does a nice job on one side but only partially rounds the other side. If you use the cutter at the top of the corner rounding slot (see red slot on top right of machine) it did a great job. The lower corner rounding, it only rounded labels to a 60 deg vs 90 deg like the top. Not a deal breaker but the miss prints are. Label tape isn't cheap if you buy Epson brand. I would recommend giving it a try and would recommend it over the PX350 (we have 2 of them) as long as it functions as required. Read more
