Lacoste Womens Crewneck Cashmere Pullover Sweater

As much as I was initially drawn to the Rocket Green shade, which is interesting and vibrant, I ultimately ordered the cream - which I knew I would get more use out of for a sweater in such a classic style and cut. This isn’t a fashion-forward piece but one that could remain a wardrobe staple for many years to come, with proper care and laundering. Although it looks like a very standard crew neck sweater, the thin green stripe running up each sleeve still adds a subtle unique detail that prevents the sweater from becoming too boring. I typically wear XS or XXS and ordered the size 0, which is still on the loose side for me. The sleeves are very long and petite women will definitely have to roll them up a couple of times. It’s not a form fitting sweater by any means, and more of a layering piece. I think it looks nice layered with athleisure outfits or when tucked into high waisted pants, for a more smart casual look. The cashmere is soft, lightweight, cozy and comfortable. I have highly sensitive skin that doesn’t react well to wool, so I was cautious about the 5% wool. My skin can turn red and itchy, and develop rashes within minutes when I am in contact with wool. I will say that the only area I felt some mild sensitivity was around the neck - so I wish the crew neck was a bit wider (or that there was no wool content). But those without a wool sensitivity probably won’t have the same issue. Read more

I really like this cashmere blend sweater from Lacoste x Bandier. It is a blend because it is 97% cashmere and 3% wool. It is basically a crewneck sweatshirt made out wonderful material. It looks and wears like a typical crewneck sweatshirt. I wore it all day layered over a long sleeve polo and it kept me warm, warmer than many of my other cashmere sweaters. I got the rocket green and love it. So pretty. Very well constructed and looks great both over active wear and jeans. It is a sporty look. For reference: I am 5’4” tall, weigh 135 pounds and wear a 36D bra. I got the size 10 as recommended by Amazon. I could have gotten a size 8. I am between a medium and large in tops, so I do tend to size up for safety. This sweater fit like a sweatshirt in the size 10. I think an 8 would have fit more like a sweater. Love it. Read more

If you’re familiar with the Lacoste brand, then you know that everything they make is amazing quality, and this sweater is no exception. It fits true to size and is amazingly soft. I have received so many compliments every time I wear it out. The fact that it’s a neutral color means that it will last you forever with its timeless style. You can mix and match this with so many different things. It’s a great staple for your wardrobe. I literally have nothing bad to say about this sweater. I think this item might have been previously worn. The tag wasn’t attached and it smelled of perfume. The sweater itself is not as soft or as thick as I would have expected. I have no previous experience with this brand or sweater but feel it’s not a good value for the money. The fit itself is nice. Read more

I have a collection of cashmere sweaters as it is one of life's simple luxuries. This Lacoste x Bandier cashmere sweater is simply beautiful and well made. The knit mesh cashmere leans more towards a lightweight texture knit but the attention to details is top notch. I ordered the cream color in European size 42 as I like to wear my sweaters on the larger side even though I am only 5'2 and 120 lb. The green stitch detailing along the steam of the sleeves and down the side of the sweater adds a lovely touch to a very simple crew neck sweater. I love the sport elegant nature of this sweater, as I can dress it for work with a pair of cream slacks or throw on my favorite yoga pants and head out to lunch with my girlfriends.
