I was unsure of what size to buy so I e-mailed the company with my measurements. I am glad I did that because they saved me the trouble of getting a jacket that is too small. These run small so it might be safe to check with the seller on what jacket you should buy. The seler responded super fast to my questions. The jackets arrived in just a few days from England. The leather is beautiful, soft and of high quality. It smells wonderful. The jacket has a superb fit that makes me feel very feminine. They smell great. I can't wait for it to get cold enough to wear them. I might go back and buy another color. I recommend this 100%. You can get a synthetic jacket for a lot less money. That's what I have done in the past. Pony up the extra money and buy this beautiful jacket that will most likely last you the rest of your life, with the proper care of course. I have a pair of eggplant colored Dr. Marten boots that absolutely NOTHING I own goes with....until now!! I typed eggplant colored MC Jacket into a search engine and found this incredibly soft, wonderful jacket here on Amazon...I was a little hesitant to purchase it at first because I saw it was shipping from the UK, I live in New York. The shipping fee was $35.00, it was well worth it. I ordered the jacket on December 5th, here it is December 7th and I’m wearing it!! The color is darker than pictured which worked out in my favor, it actually is the color of an eggplant. Follow the sizing chart for the jacket, it’s dead on. I’m a size 12-14 these days, which is safe to say a large, most of my leathers are medium, thank heaven leather stretches as you wear it, unfortunately my body has gotten a little larger too..😉 I looked at the chart and I figured I’d be a size 14 according to their sizing. I spent more time trying to figure out what size to get than searching for the jacket. I have a beautiful black leather jacket that fits great. I laid it down flat and measured pit to pit, waist and hip. I then matched it to the chart. I want to be able to wear a sweater under it in the cold weather. The size is perfect for me. I love the red color (more blue red than orange red) it’s a lipstick red with subtle shading. I’m usually an 8-10, but in the expensive brands I’m a 12-14. I’m 38-30-40. I purchased the American size 14 feeling that Euro sizes run small. I got A PERFECT FIT! I’m eyeing the white one next. Oh btw, I ordered it on the 20th and it came on the 22nd. Two days! I am 5'5.5" and 143-145ish lbs, 36A/B, muscular build shoulders and biceps, and ordered a US8/ UK12. I always have the problem of things fitting too tight on my top because of my broad shoulders and larger upper arms, but this couldn't fit any better! Fits like it was tailored for me! Got the gray, which could look olive in some lighting, but it's gray and looks great. The leather is soft and looks worn, exactly as I wanted! This is the most beautiful leather jacket ever. I originally ordered a small, but had to return it for a large. The large size allows me to zip the jacket up. The sleeves are slightly long, but that does not bother me. Everyone has a less than perfect body and proportions. I ordered the red.
