I had searched high and wide for the "perfect" sleeveless denim top for my size and body type that I could wear both opened with a tank/camisole/tee underneath, or closed as a blouse, and I finally found it with this excellent item! As I most closely identify with an inverted triangle shape (larger chest size with back bra bulge, and two sizes smaller below an undefined waist), this top comfortably fits all my curves while efficiently hiding the flaws, giving me a smooth, confident silhouette. I got a small in Dark Blue, which matches most of my jeans. It isn't "brand new jeans", it looks like it's been washed a couple of times (I haven't washed it yet). I'm 5'3" and 130lbs, with a 34B bust. I usually wear a small in tops. I saw that the size chart shows a 37.5" bust for the small. I assumed this to mean that there was some ease built in, which makes sense, so it could be worn over a closer fitting top. This fits well and is form fitting with enough room to wear a top underneath. I think it's well made and looks durable. The fabric is heavier denim that isn't too stiff and seems like it will continue to soften and wear well over the years; which is what a good quality denim garment should do - eventually becoming a "vintage" favorite piece for years to come. The only issue I see is that the button holes have some loose threads that catch the buttons. I think this is normal in a denim fabric and they can easily be trimmed close. I don't think it impacts the quality. I'm very happy with this and think it is a good value (approx $32 at time of review) for a "classic' wardrobe piece that will just get better over time.
