I tend to be a bit Goldilocks when it comes to sweaters. Ones that are in my frequent rotation must be versatile, that looks good with shorts, jeans and work pants. The fit must feel tailored, and the material must look premium, even if it is not shaved off of golden sheep. This LaGracia sweater checks all the boxes. Because it’s lightweight, it won’t take up much room in your suitcase, so this one’s a good candidate for travel. I owned a premium brand similar to this one, and they are nearly identical. The difference is that this LaGracia sweater won’t set you back a few hundred dollars. Read more

The fabric is really nice—smooth, tightly knit, thin sweater material that feels classy and elevated. It’s lightweight without being flimsy, and I love how polished it looks. It’s accurately described as a crop top (hits right at the crop length), and the neck isn’t uncomfortably tight once it’s on. However, pulling it over your head feels a bit snug, so just be careful if you have a styled hairdo or makeup on—it could get mussed or transfer a little. My main issues are with the color and opacity: • It’s listed and shown as white, but in person it’s definitely a cream/off-white/creamy white. If you’re expecting a bright, pure white, this might disappoint. Amazon should update the listing to “white/cream” or “creamy white” to set better expectations. • Like many thin white/cream knits, it’s somewhat see-through. I can’t wear a colored bra underneath without it showing, so I’ll need to layer with a tank top or nude undergarment. This is probably only an issue with the lighter color (darker versions might be fine). Overall, it’s a classy, comfortable piece if cream works for your wardrobe and you’re okay with layering for opacity. Great fabric and style, just wish the color and sheerness were more accurately represented! Read more
