This company is truly like the apple of bathroom appliances. I first started using them for their incredible toothbrushes, which are both gorgeous and well designed, and thought I would give their new electric shavers a shot. It came in the same beautifully presented packaging, and the operation is dead simple: long press to put it in and out airplane mode, and short press to shave. It glides smoothly over the face and neck without any tugging or nicks, and gives a decent shave. Foil shavers arent ever going to shave as closely as a razor, but this does come very close. It reminds me of salon-grade italian foil shavers i’ve used before, except this is heavier, feels better in the hand, is smaller and travel friendly, and it seems to be made of stronger materials. The battery is impressive and I don't think i’ll have to charge it for many months. I love having accessories that don't look like ugly plastic garbage on your bathroom sink. Cleaning the device is also dead simple, and the magnetic cover for the foil is elegant and strong. Hair wont be released in your bag it wont fall off in travel. This is easily rhe best foil shaver on the market, and you’ll be paying a premium for Laifen’s quality. But if you want one shaver to rule them all, this is it. For those that like to maintain a tasteful 5 o'clock shadow, this is perfect. I use it mostly to clean up my neck hairs and it’s 10x faster than using a traditional razor. Read more

This is by far the best razor I’ve ever used since I’ve been shaving. I have a very heavy beard and every razor I’ve use has gotten close but not as smooth as a blade razor. I’ve been shaving since i was 14 and am now 52. Every electric razor i have used does not leave my face smooth and irritates my skin. The Laifen P3 Pro has left my face smooth and irritation free. I have also used it on my arms and other places with the best results i have ever had with an electric razor. The unboxing of the Laifen Pro 3 is top notch. Very fruit like experience. The razor itself feels very solid in your hand and is very well constructed. Cleaning the razor is super simple with it being waterproof and the magnetic design. The Laifen Pro is the perfect travel razor being so small and light weight I have purchased multiple toothbrushes from Laifen as well and their products never disappoint. Read more

Hey! Hope you’re having a great day! After reading this review your choice in an electric shaver will have become much clearer. I’m a 42 year-old white male who was looking for an electric shaver to avoid skin irritation and could quickly shave and be on the go since I travel often for work. I bought 4 different foil shavers. 1. JV Pro Shadow - $80 2. Manacaped Chairman Pro - $120 3. Panasonic Arc 5 - $180 4. Laifen P3 Pro I was having trouble finding an electric shaver that would provide a consistent and smooth shave while at the same time not irritate my skin. My neck grows thick hair that makes it difficult for most electric shavers to cut. The JV Pro Shadow looked and felt like the real deal. It’s a very loud shaver, sturdy, and compact shaver. It worked great on my face, but couldn’t cut the problem areas on my neck. It’s made of plastic, so gives a cheap feel to it. The second shaver was the Manscaped Chairman Pro, which I really liked and will probably end up keeping. This is a very well manufactured shaver. I really like that it came with two different blades, one for general shaving and the other for problem areas. For the money, this is the better of the bunch. The only issue I have is that it didn’t cut at well as the Laifen P3. The Chairman is also made of plastic, but they did a nice job using a matter and glossy finish to it. It feels great in your hand. The next shaver is the Panasonic Arc 5. I really am not impressed with it. I had high expectations knowing Panasonic’s history at the top of the electric shaver industry. My expectations weren’t met. The Manscaped Chairman Pro is basically an Arc 5, but with newer technology, better overall shaver and doesn’t have the same luxurious feel as the Manscaped or Laifen. Lastly, is the Laifen P3. This little gadget is a beast. It’s made of metal and the front is a see through plastic. This shaver gave the closest shave of the bunch. The only issue I have is the size. You’ll have to get used to holding something half the size of the other shavers, but overall this one is the best. It feels like a top of the line $400 luxury shaver for half the price. I had no skin irritation and it’s very simple to clean. I didn’t think I’d like it as much is I do, so it destroyed my expectations. I hope you’ll enjoy this electric shaver as much as I have. I have a fetish for high quality items machined from solid metal. This fits the bill. It looks great, works great, feels great, and is constructed with lots of screws to it is maintainable / repairable. It's a very innovatie design that just makes me happy to hold and use. I just completed a 3 week trip where my old Panasonic shaver ran out of battery. Without the proprietary charging cable that I left at home I was SOL (same with my electric toothbrush). I decided to retire it and replace it with a shaver that was USB. I found this beauty by looking for USB C rechargeable shavers. My first shave was very pleasant. Zero pulling of hair even when shaving fast. Did a good job with longish hair. The only thing I miss is a flip out trimer for sideburns, etc. Time will tell how well it lasts. It appears to be engineered and manufactured with great care, so I hope the internal components hold up. For comparison, I got 20 years out of my Panasonic (RIP). Read more

Electric shavers, honestly are incomparable to traditional shaving blades, but this does get the job done acceptably with speed and convenience, On the other hand, I do appreciate the well build quality & IP water rating. It’s like a shaver made by Apple, nice ipad like material to the touch. Nice design, not bulky, and will be used mainly as my travel companion. Read more
