Our medium sized mutt loved all of the little squirrels (there were 5) and they all lasted quite a while. This is a dog toy that requires interactive play - meaning the dog-mom or dog-dad has to keep putting the critters back into the log so Fido can pull them out again. The media could not be loaded. We bought this toy for our girls birthday, and it came yesterday – very quick delivery! Our girl is obsessed with squirrels, she chases them in the backyard, and then stare at them from the window when she’s inside(I imagine that she strategizing a way to catch one, because she is obsessed with squirrels!) This toy comes with a “Structured “soft, “log “with four holes in it, and five little squirrels that have squeakers in them… Our dog is 85 pounds and usually will tear up a stuffed toy in five minutes. She played with us a long time yesterday and again today and it seems to be sturdy enough. I played tug-of-war with a Toy, squirrel, and Daisy and it didn’t rip or break off at the tail…. So hoping this will last a while, it’s definitely her favorite toy! She likes to pull the squirrels out of the holes and it is so cute! When she first got it, her tail was wagging so fast! Lol very cute. Very, very cute!! It entertains her on her own, and she definitely loves interacting with the toy and mom and dad😊 The price was great, I’m sure I would’ve paid much more for something like this at a pet store… Thank you, Amazon! Now Daisy can pretend squirrel hunting with her toys! Very functional!
