This Bully Stick holder is the best thing ever!!! My one Dobe can eat a $15, 12" Jumbo Bully stick in 20 minutes. The holder can draw out Bully Stick time for 45 minutes or more. AND!!!!!!.......it has encouraged communication with my dog because there is always one little piece she can't get at, but she spends forever trying, ultimately she will bring it to me and ask for help. I LOVE this product. It has been a time and money saver. Read more

This bully stick holder is huge! I got the XL size, and the base is about the length from the bottom of my palm to the tip of my middle finger. It’s solid and heavy, which makes it feel really sturdy and stable when my dog’s using it. Given all of this I think this treat holder is best for large to extra larger dogs like 60lbs and up. The middle piece that holds the treats is worth mentioning because it’s designed really well. It screws in tightly to the base, and very closely to the bottom of the middle hole so it can hold a variety of treat sizes from thinner bully sticks to thick ones like yak chews. I love that it’s that versatile. It also has a spot where you can fill it with peanut butter or another snack, which is a nice touch for keeping dogs entertained. That said, I personally do not recommend letting your dog chew on this like a toy, even though it’s advertised as a chew toy. This is really best used as a tool to safely hold treats so dogs don’t try to swallow the ends and risk choking. My dog actually broke one of her canine teeth on a hard chew toy almost identical to this, and it was a $5,000 repair. Most vets agree that if you can’t make a dent in something with your fingernail, it’s too hard for dogs to chew on safely. So while this is a fantastic product for holding sticks, just keep an eye on your dog while they use it and remove it once the treat is gone. Overall, I think this is a very well-made, durable, and thoughtful product that solves the biggest risk of bully sticks... swallowing the last piece. It feels premium, holds treats securely, and gives great peace of mind knowing my dog can enjoy her sticks safely. Read more

King, my hound mix, really loves his bully sticks, and I have to admit, he likes them when they're in this holder even better because they allow him to get a firm hold. I like that this allows him to eat more of each bully stick without the stick becoming a safety hazard. That saves money. This holder/toy is very durable; King is known for destroying toys meant for agressive chewers within minutes. We've had this for two months, and he still hasn't been able to destroy it. I do have one warning... If you've got a very smart dog, they may be able to figure out how to untwist the bolt that holds the treat in place. King has, but it takes him several minutes, so I just twist it every 10 to 20 minutes. I wholeheartedly recommend this treat holder. Read more

This stick holder is an excellent choice for our heavy chewers. The material is very durable, and the screw mechanism functions well in holding the sticks tight. Definitely for larger breeds, it is a substantial size toy. With the stick in place, it offers great access and enhances the chewing ability of your dogs. A safe and functional way to hold bully sticks. Read more

I was not really impressed with this. It does what it says but the "hold a bully stick" function is oversold in my opinion. You need to have a bully stick of the right dimension, you have to give it a half twist or two to "lock it" in place. Any decent dog is going to rip it out, untwist or otherwise remove this base from the bully stick. The second function, using it with peanut butter or frozen treat, did entice me until I got it. The space for the frozen goodness is actually fairly small volume. I would be surprised if its more than an oz.. The good thing is the opening is also small so a dog would have to work to get the food stuff out. Between that and the chewing factor it should keep them somewhat occupied. My 3 stars is based on the fact I thing it works. But is not a "wow" type of puzzle\chew toy. Read more

This toy is actually bigger and more heavy-duty than I expected, which is exactly what I was hoping for since my dog is very hard on toys. He’s been playing with it all day and it’s holding up great, so I’d definitely say it’s a great buy. I also love how versatile and well thought out this toy is. In addition to being durable, it has another really cool function where you can remove a piece of the toy, fill it with peanut butter or something similar, put it in the freezer, and then reassemble it so your dog can lick the frozen treat out of the other end. That feature alone keeps my dog entertained for a long time. I like that it has an integrated holder designed for bully-stick-style chews. I don’t use bully sticks specifically, but I do use similar products from other brands, and it works really well with them. It also adds an extra layer of safety since it helps prevent dogs from swallowing the small ends of chews. This toy is incredibly versatile, thoughtfully designed, and built for aggressive chewers, which is something I don’t see often in toys with this many smart functions. For the price, it’s an amazing value. I’m so happy with it and honestly can’t give it enough praise — easily one of the best dog toys I’ve purchased. Especially for the price! You’re getting multiple toys in one! So instead of buying a bully stick holder, a toy for aggressive chewers, and a peanut butter freezer toy, you can just buy this one for an affordable price! I love it!! Read more
