The quality of these socks is excellent. They are soft, not scratchy. Warm and cozy but not overly thick and bunchy. They stay up well and have no flaws. The Ecru is such a beautiful soft off-white, and match with so many outfits. Great with boots, Mary janes, loafers, and more. Just so versatile. Sizing was perfect for a size 8 in shoes. First of all, these are knee socks, not thigh high socks. I am not a tall person with long legs, nor do I have thick legs. They are comfortable and the cuff at the top isn’t too tight. I have not worn them for an entire day, so I don’t know if they stay up long term or not. I like the color. They would look great with a tweed skirt or even wool shorts. I like that they are made from lambs wool so they won’t itch. The socks are well made and should last for several winters. Read more
So, really good product, but very small, compared to what they're saying it is. The description is confusing because it says 'knee high' and then 'long thigh leg warmers. So let's clear up the confusion. These are really nice, wool, knee high socks. As you can see the sock on my mom's leg, it comes up to her knee, but does not go above. My mom is 5'5". I will also point out that because they have little to no stretch, they are no good for a plus sized leg. They fit my mom's normal sized leg fine, but my plus size leg can barely get inside them. These are very soft wool. The fabric isn't thick, but it's warm because it's wool. Though the knee cuff is stretchy, the rest of the sock is not. My mom has and 8.5 foot and these are a bit hard to get on and off because they have very little stretchiness to them. But once on, they are soft and warm and comfy. My mom says it's like she's not wearing socks at all, they're so light and soft. Just a really nice pair of knee high, wool socks for regular sized people. Read more
I was pleasantly surprised with how much I actually loved these socks. I was a little worried I wouldn't be able to wear them because I can be very averse to things even a LITTLE itchy, I do have some sensory issues when it comes to clothes, but I really wasn't bothered by these! I only had one or two moments where I thought they were itchy, but other than that, they wore great. I wear a women's size 11 and they fit me just fine. The come up to just below the knee. I ordered these for an Alaska trip I have planned in February, and figured these would be perfect at helping me stay warm on my trip, and I fully expect they will! I will probably still wear 1 more pair of socks over the feet, since they feel a little thin around the toes, but it also may be that I pulled them on too tightly, I'm not sure. I wouldn't normally even CONSIDER buying a SINGLE PAIR of socks for $28 (which is what these are listed for at the time of this review), but in my opinion they are worth it. The quality is great, too. I don't expect these are going to just fall apart anytime soon. They will keep you warm and will make GREAT layering socks. They are soft and not really itchy (probably better after a single wash) They stay up on your leg without the band being too tight.
