I bought this 'rug' in 5'x8' size, and used it to wrap the cushion of a built-in bench adjacent to my kitchen. Prior to buying this item, I spent **weeks** looking at dozens of other options on Amazon… but ultimately decided that.this one had the look, coloration, and positive feedback that I wanted. The price was steeper than I had hoped to spend, but since receiving the rug yesterday, I'm more than happy with my choice and glad that I didn't settle for anything less. The rug's faux fur is thick, dense, and cozy to sit on or snuggle into. The backing seems to hold the rug nicely in place, so it's not apt to slide/shift. The fur feels very natural, not synthetic. The warm-toned color-tipped fibers take on different looks depending on how they're "groomed", and the overall effect is a solid "wow", already confirmed by several neighbors, and most importantly... my dog. Only good thing about this "rug" is that it's soft. Doesn't look like a rug. It looks like we have a large blanket on the floor. The brown is way darker than the pics & makes it look too "busy". There's also an ugly, large seam up the middle of the rug. I've had rugs this large before but never had a seam. Rug looks nice & thick in the pics, but in person it's flat & cheap looking. Waste of money. Should've went for something with customer reviews. Read more
