I use this on a couple of bikes, it’s very easy to move the whole unit from one to the other in less than a minute. The only snag for me was because of the unusual stem on my e-bike that limits the phone angle somewhat, and the wide jaws that barely fit a short, high-angle stem. Otherwise it’s a secure and easy to use system. The plastic seems sturdy enough to protect a phone during normal use, but I doubt it (or myself) would survive a modest crash without damage. This thing held my phone phenomenally. I was in an accident on my electrical bike going 28 miles an hour October 24, 2025 and this thing saved my phone like a champ. It cleanly broke off from the base attached to my bike but still held onto the phone as it tumbled away. The screen of my iPhone 17 Pro Max was completely unaffected. Fit my iPhone 16 Pro, which has a bulkier Otter Box protector on it. I was a little worried about that, but this phone holder has a wide range of adjustability and fit my phone and protector perfectly. The holder is sturdy and well made and my phone does not change position when I hit bumps on the road. The retention force is more than adequate. I was little concerned about this at first considering that unlike older designs, the phone is not retained on all corners. Insertion and removal of the phone with the quick-release mechanism only takes a second. This is an evolved and well-thought out design. Read more

I used it on a 19 mile ride today. It holds my Pixel 6 Pro in a fairly heavy duty case. It is easy and quick to insert and remove my phone from the holder. The only minor issue which others have mentioned is that I had to re-tighten the handle bar mount. But I hit a fair number of bumps riding and I don't see this as a serious problem.
