I have always added chapstick to any lipstick that I wear, but I have found that this lipstick really does moisturize your lips better without the chapstick. I have always had to deal with dry skin and my lips are no exception - believe me when I say this lipstick is the best for dry lips. I love both colors and depending on my mood, I sometimes add both for color variation. End of Edit I ordered the 196 French Touch warm After applying, I blot my lips with a tissue and then add a good chapstick (to keep them moist). The color stays on for a long time and looks natural. You can't even tell that I have lipstick on (a look that I prefer). The fact that the color stays and does not wear off is the main reason as to why I like it so much (aside from the fact that the color is perfect). This lipstick does help to keep your lips feeling moist. But I have always liked adding chapstick to any lipstick that I wear - and no other lipstick has ever stayed on like this one does.
