We are pleased with this handsome little wood-framed clock. It’s powered by a common AA battery. The alarm is easy to set using a dial on the back. Pressing the button on the clock’s top creates a five-minute snooze period for the alarm. The same button also turns on a dial light making it easy to check the time when it’s dark. It’s doing its job keeping time perfectly. It has an easy-to-read face, accurately displays the time, can show the time even when it is dark using its light function, and has an attractive wood frame. I'm not sure if it's a generational thing, but our house doesn't have any analog clocks. This is a perfectly quiet and attractive battery-operated alarm clock. It's simple and easy to operate with a dual-use button that operates a night light. It keeps time accurately - though it's only been two days. I can't yet comment about battery life (takes one AA battery), but I would expect at least 5-6 months.
