I bought this to use for water exercise classes. I’ve been wearing it since mid-August, 3 workouts per week on average for about 21 weeks. Based on the pros and cons below, I think this would probably make a good one-summer suit with frequent use as a swimming suit; it might be more durable with less frequent use and in natural water, as opposed to heavily chlorinated pools like where I do exercise classes. Pros: -great fit for a longish torso -fabric is thick and stretchy and the color retention is excellent, virtually no fading of the dark blue color - modest coverage and shape retention, so it’s good for exercise because nothing shifts or falls off of shoulder, etc. -elastic and seams in the hems of legs, shoulders, neckline, etc. have held up well, no loose threads or loss of elasticity Cons: - after about 70 wearings, the Lycra threads in the side fabric panels under the arms and along the waist seams started to pop out. Within a few wearings, there are large visible patches of loose Lycra nubbins spreading out from those areas. I suspect this is due to the amount of chlorine exposure, despite rinsing after each use and special anti-chlorine soap use intermittently. I list this as a con because it does affect the stretch of the outer layer and the visual appeal, but I think I’ll get at leas a few more months of use out of it because the suit still holds its shape well and has good coverage because of the double layers. Curiously, the inner layers don’t seem to be showing any of this breakdown in the Lycra fabric. Overall, it actually held up better than I hoped for my purpose, based on how much chlorination is in the pool at my Y. Had Read more

This swim suit from land's end seemed so good to see, but after a swim it started fading both at front and back. The color faded and has patches of white in fron and back. How can wear it. Can I return this? Read more
