This is hands down the best brush dryer I’ve owned, outpacing both my Revlon and Complex Culture dryers. The first time I used it, I tried it on my towel dried hair. I usually power dry with a standard dryer for a minute or two before turning to a brush dryer, but I’m delighted to report that this thing dried my hair in about half the time of my CC dryer, even allowing for skipping a usual step! It left my hair silky, super shiny, and frizz-free! I did not use any product on this first go because I wanted a clean baseline, and the dryer really did the lifting that any oil I used would’ve. It’s got two heat settings along with a cool shot, and comes with a bristle protector for travel. I find this bulky, but others may appreciate the inclusion. The trade off is that, right out of the box, it’s got an overpowering formaldehyde smell. It does dissipate over time, especially if you leave it out in open areas to air. I left it in a 12x12 room for a few hours after opening and the smell had filled the whole space when I came back. My suggestion would be to keep it outside under cover, in a basement, or perhaps a large room until it off gasses. I legitimately thought about returning it, the smell was so strong. I have natural light blonde hair that is toned and lightened. Fine hair but medium to full thickness. (I’ve got fine hair but quite a bit of hair lol) I used this today for the first time, I towel dried, then put some Chi heat protectant/detangler in my hair, and waited 30 minutes. I am not a hair guru, however, I have improved my hair quality over time by removing high heat tools like a straightener and a hair dryer as well as decreased weekly washing to twice from daily or every other day. I also now use clips instead of bands and scrunchies and my hair as greatly improved in frizz and thickness and quality. CIRCLING BACK! This tool is really fantastic. My main reason for this applies across a few points but the main objective here is this: This tool makes your hair look like you just got done at the salon as far as: Shine Zero frizz The perfect twist and curl to the ends with that fresh cut look without the damage and further frizzing and split ends. If you don’t like this tool it’s because you aren’t holding the tool in your hair while rotating it and or you’re not starting as close to your scalp in varying directions with rotations for long enough. It works off heat and time to intensify the curl shine and hold. Section your hair off clip 1/4 at a time and dry one then go to the next. This hair styler does a great job at drying and styling my hair in basically one step, and in a short period of time. Noise level is acceptable, not worse than any other hairdryer, heat options are great, and my hair comes out nicely styled and shiny. This is my second one and so far, I have no complaints with it, my prior one did not last as long as I expected it to, that was very disappointing, so I am cautiously hoping for a longer lifespan for this one. I don't normally write reviews but OMG...this thing has earned a glowing review!!! My hair is curly and tends to get frizzy. I have a fair amount of hair but each hair is thin so it makes my frizz worse. I have tried so many things to get my hair looking like it does when I leave the salon, but could not find anything that came close...until now. The L'Ange Bow Dryer Brush is AH-MAZING!!! Super easy to use and my hair comes out smooth, sleek, bouncy with lots of movement, and is super silky and soft. This styling tool is a total game cahnger..I have been so frustrated because I want to have that "put together" look and just haven't been able to acheive it at home before the L'Ange. I get compliments all the time on how nice my hair looks....even from strangers. It's insanely easy to use, way easier to style your hair vs a round brush and hair dryer and much faster as well. I'd been seeing ads for this on my social media accounts for years. I finally decided to take the plunge. My main reason for buying it was that I'm going to need shoulder replacement surgery, and thought I might be able to use this to dry and style my hair with one hand. My hair is naturally curly, about shoulder-length, but I have it cut to wear straight. I must say that this dryer/styler does an amazing job of making my hair look beautiful and shiny. It's very easy to use, and my hair is dried and styled within 10 minutes, the same time it would take with a dryer and brush, followed by a hot brush to help straighten it and get rid of any frizz or flyaways. So I get all that from this one tool. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it's kind of bulky and heavy. For me, that makes it a bit difficult to do the back, though I do manage to do it. The center of the unit is tapered so it's a bit easier to hold at that point, but it's still bulky. Overall, though, I'm very happy with it and glad I bought it. My hair looks great, and I would recommend it. I haven't yet tried to dry my hair using just one hand. I think it will be difficult, but I'll try at some point. Read more
