I use these for sewing and quilting, and they’ve been very reliable. The ink goes on smoothly and is easy to see on light and dark fabrics without bleeding. To erase, I use a regular household iron on low heat, and the markings disappear immediately with no ghost lines left behind. I tested them on cotton and linen, and they erased cleanly on both. It took a little bit for the ink to get flowing, but after that they work very well. The assortment of colors is great for dark and light fabrics and they do completely disappear immediately with heat. I will absolutely buy these again! Read more

So far I have only tried out the purple pen. I tested the pink and black and they seemed to be a little dry compared to the purple. But that was just a quick color swatch nothing too serious so maybe just needed more warmup. Anyways the purple worked perfectly! Dark enough for me to see clearly while sewing and disappeared quickly with my iron. I would recommend! It is also nice to have refills too. Read more

These have worked very well for me. I read other reviews that said the white didn't show up well and I found this to be true on denim, perhaps due to the roughness of the fabric and/or the variation in color of the denim I was using. I switched to the pink which worked on the denim. I found the white showed up very well on a non-denim cotton fabric I used for a Sashiko class. I did not need to bear down hard. One must be a tad patient though; initially it was a bit faint but after a minute or two the white was quite sharp and clear. I have not yet used the black or purple. Read more

Oh, my goodness! I’m so impressed with these marking pens for sewing! They absolutely work as advertised! I received the product as displayed in the listing. I’ve been creating a lot of quilts lately, and because of a mishap with a different method of marking that was supposed to wash out but didn’t after the first regular machine wash, I went on a hunt for something better. I’ll be honest…I tested these pens on a scrap piece of fabric to see if the marks do disappear with heat, and the one I used worked just as described. However, when it came time to mark my quilt top for quilting, I almost became a nail biter because I was so anxious about the premise working on the real deal because of the work I had put in on this gift quilt. Well! I am a believer and will use these pens for ALL my fabric marking needs! They write smoothly, are deeply pigmented, the lines are clear and very thin, and the marks disappear COMPLETELY with a light touch of an iron. I marked my quilt a full day before quilting, and marks were still as clear the following day…no disappearing ink here! They look like a regular pen with refills and solid barrels and tops that snap on. So simple to use! The ink dries quickly with no smearing at. All (100% cotton here). I’m thrilled with these pens and will purchase them again. There are a variety of colors, including white which will be great for marking dark fabrics. I’m impressed and definitely a believer! I highly recommend them for marking those fabric masterpieces you’re working on. These work well to mark fabric. My biggest complaint is that they dry out extremely fast. Once you start using the pen, it seems the ink dries out in 24-48 hours. Read more
