I am an urban commuter, so I want my backpacks thin, but still able to hold a laptop—a lot of pockets and storage space, but not overdoing it. Plus, it should store a water bottle on the outside. It's been incredibly hard to find this recipe. They always make them so big and wide profile to knock into people and things on trains and such. Or they're too tall, too wide, and look like you're going camping. Finally, I found this. Not only a perfect thin profile and just the right amount of pockets... it looks super cool and it's sturdy and well made. I love it so much, I don't think I'd ever give it up. Read more

Great backpack for my daily commute. Nice thick leather that keeps my things dry even in the rain, well assembled, and generally seems capable of taking a healthy beating. The expandable/collapsible zipper thing is excellent—holds my 15.6 inch laptop, notebooks, textbook and a change of clothes while expanded, without seeming bulky or blocky. It has just the right amount of internal pockets, so I can pretend to keep stuff organized without immediately forgetting which compartment I blindly crammed everything into earlier. Worth the cost. Very high quality and sturdy leather. The metal zippers are wonderful, and I've had no issues with them. The charging port is a bit wonky. You can manuever it back in if it comes out, but it doesn't stay in the provided slot very well; otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars. Other than that, it's a great backpack! Read more
