This is a great product if you’re not allergic to lanolin. I say that because I’m not, but my son is. It says hypoallergenic, but if you are allergic to wool, you could also be allergic to lanolin. Please do a patch test if you’re unsure. Hypoallergenic means a product contains few ingredients know to cause an allergic reaction, but it doesn’t mean it won’t cause an allergic reaction. Those allergic to wool tend to be allergic to lanolin. I don’t purchase this for its intended use, but I have eczema and it keeps my inner elbows from being itchy while keeping it under control in my ears…yes, I am that small percentage of people who get it in their ears.
