This is a beautiful and simple skirt. The material is much lighter and more flowy than I was expecting, but with the elastic waist, it hangs very naturally. The sash around the waist can be tied in whatever position you desire, which is nice, and since the waistband is wide elastic, you don't need to rely on the tie to hold the skirt in place. I didn't realize when I ordered it, but this skirt has pockets, which is always a plus. The length feels maybe slightly too long if you're petite as it can look like a lot of fabric when not moving, but since it's lightweight, it doesn't restrict movement at all. I ordered the navy blue, which is nice, but it is a very dark, almost black navy. Also, note that this arrives vacuum packed, so it'll be wrinkled when first taken out of the bag, so plan time to iron our steam it if you're going to be wearing it right away. Read more

I am 5’7” and weigh 140. I ordered a medium.. The fabric is very nice, and moves like chiffon. The black does not require a slip, but I would guess a lighter color would. The skirt was made with too much fabric for me, it adds girth to the hips. Although this does add to the movement of the skirt, it could have been achieved with less fabric. Because of the amount of fabric, I wear it with tops whose hems tuck tight against the body. I can’t wear it with a tucked in top or a loose hemmed top as it makes me look huge. Read more
