I had to wait a while for this lap desk to arrive and in one day I am satisfied and happy with it. The large size gives me a bigger platform for my lap top and mouse. Best of all is the beaded cushion. Unlike foam I can move the beading around to make it more comfortable on my legs. I also use it for reading and writing (by hand, some of us still do it) and there is plenty of room for taking notes, coloring, or sketching. The top has a nice texture so nothing slides. There is a long slot that can be used for multiple items. I was surprised that the trim is one piece. There is no seam to break or catch anything. It is lightweight and I like the small carry loop for ease of transport. But is the is the pillow that I love the most. I have a smaller beaded laptop desk but it broke open and out poured little beads everywhere. This lap desk has a removable, washable cover and the beads are cased separately so that when I take the cover off no beads will come flying out. It arrived well packaged, a good thing since the box was beat up and falling apart on the end. There was no damage to the laptop desk. A small instruction book provides clear guidance on how to remove the pillow cover for washing. The material is similar to a t-shirt with some stretch so that the beads can be moved around. This perfectly suits my needs. I needed a proper lap desk, not just a lap book prop. This is perfect. The cushion is soft and comfortable. You can slightly adjust the tilt. And according to the directions, I will be able to remove the cover for washing in the future. I am able to set up my iPad and phone at the top in the slot. And I really like the small ledge at the bottom. It is big enough to stop a book sliding off, but what I especially like is if you need to be writing, you can use your hand to push the ledge in and you have a flat writing surface. If you play games in bed like me and you're looking for something simple and effective, this lap desk is your best bet. Cushions are super squishy and comfortable, and there's the perfect amount of space without being huge--plenty to fit your standard size mousepad, unlike many of the other lap desks I've seen listed. Lightweight whilst still feeling well-built, surface is made of a rubbery material so there's minimal sliding. I like that the stopper at the bottom is small and springloaded, so it doesn't get in the way. My one complaint would be that the edge of the desk is hard and not very rounded, so it can dig into your wrists a bit depending on how you're sitting. Otherwise, A+ all around! Read more

I got this as I wanted a solution for when I play Final Fantasy XIV on my MacBook in my bedroom. Sometimes you just need to not be in your office / gaming room. Having this as an alternative option made sense. In any event, size wise it's great. Not too small, not too large. For a while, it works perfectly. That said, the only complaint I have with it is after a little while the cushion on the underside gets pretty warm and doesn't dissipate heat as well as I'd like it too. I spend a lot of time in a recliner and wanted a “desk” to use my 15” laptop and mouse while in the chair. This item works perfectly-plenty of maneuvering room on the surfac and i find the cushion very comfortable and the weight is not noticeable to me. I was a little concerned with the pricing, but after handling it I’m very impressed with the design and manufacturing - worth it, an elegant item.. The surface has a light leather grain type texture - I thought it would be smooth, but nevertheless, the mouse works fine. Adds to the elegance. The little guard at the bottom is lightly spring loaded so it is easily depressed, but don’t really need it, nothing slides on this textured surface. The phone slot truly is in the wrong place and therefore useless to me, I use it to store pencils. I’m quite happy with this purchase - bought another ( The small size) to use exclusively with my 11” iPad. Now I can share with my wife with no interruptions. She uses her 16” laptop exclusively on the sofa, and was immediately dazzled when I let her “borrow” mine. Very highly recommended..worth the bucks. Read more

I’m very happy with this lap-desk. It fits my 15 inch MacBook Air with a mouse pad to the side. The cushion is very comfortable. I also like the little retractable front bumper that holds my computer in place.
