I am a college student, so I am constantly packing my computer around, so I worry about breaking my electronics when I transport them all over. This is a good case that wasn't super expensive, and it does the job. I don't worry about breaking my computer anymore when I set my backpack down. It has plenty of cushion to keep my computer safe. I can't say for certain if it is waterproof, but it is better than nothing if it were to rain. Just got a 14 in MacBook and ordered this sleeve (mainly due to its competitive price I admit). It turned out much better than I had expected. It’s spacious - can fit the laptop and more items such an iPad or kindle, and chargers and notebooks and pens in the side pocket.
