Keeping this short and sweet. Just got the ElfAnt Laptop Stand Adjustable Portable Aluminum for 10" - 17" Laptop Tablet today. • When I prop up my 14 inch MacBook Pro (2024, so it's fairly lightweight), there's no wobble when I type on it. It's not 100% identical to the experience when the laptop is flat on my desk, but it's not noticeable enough to distract me. • It's lightweight and easily portable, so I won't mind moving it around to different tables. • It supports various height configurations, so I hope I can find one that works for both my neck and wrists until I can get an external keyboard. • The price ~$36 was reasonable for an aluminum material that aligns with the MacBook's aluminum case, but it could be a little lower IMO. Still, the quality seems good. Read more

If you have tried out some of these, you know that the issue with most stands that fold up well enough for travel is that they are not stable enough when you type, and certainly not for a video conference—too much wobble that looks shaky on the video. (Shaky is a highly technical term LOL.) But not this one! Folds up really well, and unfolds into an adjustable and solid base. Amazingly well constructed. We now have three of these in the family. I LOVE this laptop stand. I was fortunate enough to catch the Black Friday sale, and got it for a hefty discount (it's real, not just marked up before the holiday and brought back down to its normal price 'on sale'). The different levels of adjustability for both sections of the stand (the angle the bars rise at from the base, and the angle of the platform the laptop sits on) makes this super versatile to use-- moreso than even a Roost, whose 2 sections move in tandem as you adjust height. That being said, it is pretty heavy when compacted, which is expected with aluminum construction. Just something you'll have to decide upon yourself. Roost is much lighter but less versatile. If you need your laptop at a specific height and sitting at a specific angle, this is the best stand I can recommend. ONE MAJOR FLAW: my unit cannot extend out fully, and this not only sacrifices some stability (a wider stance is more stable), but also comfort- the legs that hold the stand up stick out farther towards the user when compacted, and this gets in the way of my keyboard sitting flat on my desk. Besides this strange limitation, this is a very sturdy and very adjustable laptop stand. Read more

As a K-8 teacher, from March to June 2020, I taught classes online, and did everything else teachers normally do online, so I was staring at my laptop on my kitchen table for the majority of the day. At the end of June, my neck was screaming and on fire because I had been sitting and staring down slightly at my laptop that was flat on the table. I knew I had to get something to raise my laptop, and a cardboard box wasn't a permanent solution. The ElfAnt laptop is exactly what I was looking for. Here's a quick rundown: *Folds up easily and quickly to fit in the carrying bag provided *Small and lightweight - easily fits in a backpack, carry on, briefcase, etc. *Holds my Mac Book Pro 15" safely and securely *The design also keeps my Mac Book Pro from getting hot even when in use for hours on hot days *Fits and works perfectly on top of my 32" tabletop sit-stand desk *Lots of different ways to adjust the height with the simple design I did purchase a separate keyboard and track pad, so my hands, wrists, and arms are comfortable when I am using the laptop stand. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this, and my neck and back are no longer screaming and on fire. Whatever the teaching situation next school year, I will be ready. Great product. Good luck! Read more
Got the item today bought “2”. I am a beginner DJ (home/family/personal gathering use); and i need to have portability; small; lightweight that will fit in my Bellroy Lane Totepack/backpack. This item holds my (1st) ipad pro m4 and (2nd) Reloop Ready controller+protector with enough height elevation ergenomically placed on top of my travel lightweight camp table. Glad i found this item and for the money definitely highly recommended for this purpose. Read more

I use this for travel but also for my home office. Because of its design, it leaves a lot of room for clean airflow for my XPS 17. The dual level adjustable height is incredible for gaming on a laptop as well. Sometimes I find myself sitting on the floor or at a short desk, other times I'm in bed with a little "laptop desk". On the floor, this stand can bring my laptop to eye level. Most of the time I have it on the second to lowest height setting. It folds up into an incredible compact form factor where you can easily store this in the bottom of your bag or even in the cup holder pouch on a backpack. It is lightweight as well as you won't feel it weighing down your bag. There are rubber feet on the bottom and on the top to keep your computer from sliding around. I've received many compliments on this stand and I do feel alike to James Bond with such a unique tool in my laptop bag. Read more
