After replacing my secondhand laptop's battery due to damage from overheating, I've been careful to ensure I don't pre-emptively ruin the new battery. I don't use my laptop directly on soft/fabric surfaces, but this also means I can't do work or simple tasks if I'm not feeling well or have something quick to complete after I've gotten in bed. I also get motion sick from playing modern games, like those on my Switch 2, on large screens -- so I play handheld. This works well, except when my arthritis flares or I need to concentrate on fast-paced controls. My makeshift solution to both aforementioned issues were to use a lap tray/bed tray. It works, albeit at the expense of a little comfort and movement. It's not adjustable in height or angle, so viewing is uncomfortable: it works for quick 5 minute tasks on the laptop, but requires me to be propped up with a wedge pillow to play video games on it. It's also not very sturdy or stable, but has done the job for a few months. This laptop stand is a great replacement for/addition to my current solution. While I may eventually use it to replace the plastic laptop tray I have for my work desk, it's currently an excellent holder for my Switch 2 and laptop interchangeably. It's stable enough on my bed, and made even more stable when I place it on my folding bed tray. The color is less "rose gold" and more "rose pink," but this was evident from the product picture and I'm in love with how cute it is. The dog cutout (which can maybe questionably be considered catlike for those of us who are cat people) serves to provide airflow. The metal construction is VERY sturdy. It's stiff enough to hold your device up without moving, but not too stiff that it's difficult to adjust. Metal will help dissipate heat whereas plastic would insulate it, so I don't worry about my battery becoming overheated. It holds a Dell XPS 13 perfectly, and I think one could use it comfortably for up to a 15" laptop screen. It's such a simple product design that makes day-to-day life more comfortable! Read more

A sturdy folding laptop stand. The aluminum is strong. The stand can be adjusted to different angles to view the display of the laptop. The dog shaped cut outs provide vents for the laptop to stay cool. The supports are tall and can hold thick laptops. There are non-slip pads to keep the laptop from sliding side to side. The laptop stand works well to hold up the computer so a different keyboard and mouse can be placed below it on the table to be used. The stand is easy to set up and the joints stay stable over time. After using for a month, the joints are just as stable as they were on day one. This stand would be a great gift for any dog lover. It’s a reliable laptop stand and a good value. Read more

I have been using this "Aluminum Laptop Stand for Desk, Height-Adjustable Riser, Sturdy Ergonomic Holder with Puppy Shaped Vents for Heat Dissipation, Fits 10"-17.3" MacBook Air/Pro, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Rose Gold" to work on my tablet for a couple of weeks now and its a huge help! I have a keyboard to work with it and its really fantastic to be able to have the screen held where I want it, the angle I want, and the height I want it at. Its really easy to set it up and works perfectly as intended. Its pretty sturdy, but if I tip it just too far it will ever so slowly fall down to lay flat, so be aware you have to get the right spot. Its also so stinkin cute, pink alone gets my vote every time. This is def a good value for the price point and I recommend it highly! Read more

I use this constantly, both at home and when I’m working elsewhere, and it has genuinely made a difference in how comfortable I am using my laptop. It folds down easily and comes with me in my bag pretty much everywhere. Yes, it definitely adds some weight, and you notice it when you’re carrying it around, but for me it’s still worth it. It feels sturdy, not flimsy, and holds my laptop at a height that actually makes sense for my neck and shoulders. I also like that it doesn’t feel cheap or wobbly once it’s set up. I really love this laptop stand! It is sturdy and holds my 15.6" gaming laptop on it. The stand goes up and down and adjusts to different angles. Even the weight of my laptop with my hands on the keyboard in a natural state, does not cause it to move down when I have it adjusted to the height and angle I want. It stays out the way I want it. The dog cut-out picture not functions to help vent my laptop, but it actually made it easier for my husband to install a regular PC fan on the bottom of it to help keep my laptop cool. That to say, this is a great, portable, lightweight stand for tablets and even heavier laptops that can easily be modified to install a fan. It can fold up flat and be easily stored inside a laptop bag, as well. I'm so happy with this product!
