Great for bunions

GeorgianaOctober 26, 2025

I have narrow feet with bunions and these boots are so comfortable!!! The leather is soft and beautifully distressed, the toe box has plenty of room.I always buy a size 8 and the size 8 in these boots is a perfect fit when worn with thick socks there is plenty of room to add an orthotic if needed. Thrilled with my purchase. Read more

They run big! I ordered 1/2 smaller than normal and still need to wear thick socks. They are super cute and comfortable Read more

Comfortable, distressed broken in appearance. Fairly true to size.

HannaJanuary 3, 2023

After several returns I ended up with these boots in size 7. I wear a size 7.5 (B)M in boots but found them just a bit too large so returned for a size 7 which fit great. A tiny bit snug in width but I know they'll stretch with break in. If you plan to wear thick winter/boot socks then I'd suggest getting your normal size. So the first pair in 7.5 was a size issue but the second and third pair in size 7 were quality problems. The leather is untreated distressed so it's going to have color variations and blemishes and also scratch and scuff easily. It's also significantly lighter in the creases across the top where the toes bend. That wasn't the issue, the problem was the color of the toes didn't match. One was several shades darker than the other. Every single pair was this way. I finally just kept the 4th pair because they were the least obvious...and I was done with the boot swapping. I did treat with leather conditioner which darkened the color several shades. I knew this would happen but am fine with it and there are still color variations in the leather. Overall I'm happy with the fit and comfort but be aware, even new in the box, they'll probably have scuffs as the leather marks easily. Not sure how they'd hold up to actual farm life as they aren't waterproof or treated but for fashion, they have that great broken in look right out of the box. Read more

Amazing boot, amazing value!

BSguyAugust 1, 2021

I generally hesitate buying things on line that require proper fitting. This is especially true of footwear. I used to work for hours standing on concrete and, although I have no foot problems, my feet are easily tired and frequently achy if my shoes are of poor quality or fit. I was leaving for a rather spontaneous vacation with the hope of horseback riding and realized I had donated my other boots. I ordered these and they were a WONDERFUL surprise. The fit is true to fit. I like that they have a color that gives them a slightly worn appearance. They are very comfortable to stand or walk in. And, the did well riding up a river (I would suggest treating them with water repellent if there is a chance of submerging them or tromping in mud). All in all, I LOVE them and would not hesitate to recommend them. Read more

Soft comfortable from the start

JeanneAugust 25, 2025

I’m so glad I ordered these!! Plain simple low heal comfortable boot. I weatherproofed them with spray. I little roomy on calf only because I think I have skinny legs. But a lot less big in that area than others I’ve tried. Can wear with pants in or out. Love them! Been looking along for a simple soft boot. I will get an insert for inside because I need more watch support Read more

Great boots... when NEW

AlJune 13, 2023

I needed a pair of boots for an upcoming trip to Nashville and was drawn to this pair because of their look, quality for the price, and they fact they could be shipped overnight. The overnight shipping is a huge factor because the trip is in a few days, and I needed to be sure the boots would fit and have time to break them in. Other reviewers advised to buy a half size down from your normal shoe size, so I purchased a size 7.5, which happened to be $30 cheaper than other sizes. Sweet! But despite sizing down, they were unfortunately still too big, so I ordered a second pair at size 7, also overnight. I liked the too-big pair so much that I didn't even mind paying full price for the second pair. Unfortunately, this second order was delayed for TWO DAYS, which is not the fault of Laredo, but it compounded the unpleasantness of what happened next: When the boots finally arrived, I was disappointed to find they were previously used, and not just a little bit. The toes are visibly scuffed, the leather is faded, and the black of the soles have rubbed away to expose the red underneath. The tags had been removed and some of the original packaging was missing, though they did arrive in a Laredo box. The boots were obviously purchased, worn to an event, and returned after. (See photos for comparison of new and used pairs.) I'll be honest: I kind of dig the extra rugged/worn look. It gives them character. I'm not planning on being gentle with my boots either (after my trip, I want to see how they fair in stirrups), and I'm sure they would have eventually reached this level of distress through my own use. And of course, the 7s fit me great. They're comfortable enough, though I may have to re-break them in for my own feet. However, my concern lies in the fact that I paid full price for a pair of brand new boots and received a pre-owned pair. I would not have paid $139 had I known this is what I was getting, considering that the first pair I bought were only $108 and new. At this point, because of the delivery delay, I could not order a third pair and ensure they'd get here before I left for my trip. I contacted Amazon with the hopes of getting some kind of reimbursement, and they had the gall to offer me a measly $29 off (with no explanation of where this arbitrary number came from), despite their additional fumble with the overnight delivery. I'm not one to argue with innocent customer service reps, and with my trip in only a couple days, I didn't want to risk trying to refund/reorder the boots--so I accepted the $30 and will be keeping the secondhand boots. All this to say, try not to rely on Amazon's overnight service if you're short on time, and don't be surprised if you choose "buy new" but receive a pair of boots that have already done a fair amount of walking.
