I bought this large mat to go underneath my yoga mat. We have tile floor and it is hard on my knees to be just on yoga mat. This large mat gives enough cushion combining with my mat. Most importantly it does not slide on our tile floor. Was planning to purchase foam mat and so happy that I didn't. I highly recommend it, size is wonderful, easy to clean. I use this mat as a permanent solution for my garage gym floor. It feel great on my feet as I like to train barefoot. Also, it protects the concrete floor from the impact of weights. The mat didn’t cover my entire floor but I was able to apply foam puzzle mats along the top and bottom so that my floor would be fully covered. The mat has held up from daily use which involves dragging my bench and constantly stepping on the mat. No tears noted and looks like it will last a long time. Read more

Jaine worked with me and provided me with a couple of options to assist. I am updating my review and increasing a star to account for the customer service aspect. Original Review: I purchased this mat because I was ready to upgrade from those interlocking foam tiles. A few of my friends went to tractor supply and picked up the rubber mats for way cheaper. I decided not to go that route because I wanted something a bit more "premium", but for anyone else, I would suggest that route. Those mats are thicker and way more heavy-duty so you can drop weights on them. In addition, those mats are a fraction of the cost. With the more expensive price, I would expect a more expensive mat and better customer service. I received none of that. I had a couple of issues with the mat I purchased. First, and minor, is that the mat is not square in the corners so it does not line up in my room. Again, this is minor, but for the price, I would expect this to be square for a perfect fit. Next, the surface of the mat is sticky/oily. I'm not sure if this is just from manufacturing, but they suggest cleaning with salt and then mild soap + water. I tried both of these and still was not able to resolve this. I emailed the seller asking for some suggestions (i.e. another type of cleaner? A specific brand of soap?) but never received a response. The last is just that the mat is thinner/less dense than I expected. I don't believe this is the fault of the seller, but rather my own fault. But I wouldn't feel comfortable even lightly dropping weights down on these and that is why I would buy the cheaper rubber mats. Read more
Nice size. does not slip around on the floor, I have it on a manufactured hard-wood floor. Is not leaving any marks on the floor below. Nice amount of cushion and traction for moderate impact workouts. A bit heavy, harder to roll it up and put it away (about every 2 weeks to clean underneath it) but that helps keep it in place during workouts. I wouldn't want have to roll it up every day. I've had it for a few months and there is not any obvious wear on the surface. Read more

I love this mat for my walk-at-home exercises consisting of jogging in place, HIIT training, movements from side-to-side, etc. The only slightly annoying thing is the woosh noise as I walk in place in sneakers. I'm hoping this is temporary until the coating on top of mat wears off a little. Otherwise, it's perfect, thick, sturdy, large, odor-free. Read more
